It is the awareness of doing. Purifying awareness is the yoga of the deities. If one becomes accustomed to wisdom that purifies it, then the transgressions that are prescribed, having the nature of phenomena, are subject to arising and ceasing. Not grasping at self-characteristics, there is no gain or loss. Not abiding in contradiction in the beginning, middle, and end, its essence is conventional truth, therefore the transformation of abiding is established. How it is established will be explained in the context of the Mantrayana. Even so, both the basis and the intention are manifestly present. For those who practice with faith and possess the three vows, when abiding, they are distinct; when guarding, they guard loosely. When possessing, they possess upwards; when correcting, they are corrected from their own ground, because the deteriorated is cast away like chaff, therefore correction is established. Why prevent anything if faults are created? Because if virtue and qualities are created, they are permitted. Permission and prohibition do not abide on the path of words, but are established in connection with the continuum of the individual. Among those born at the end of the five hundred years, most have little learning, do not possess the wisdom of thought, and are separated from the reality of meditation. Therefore, they are accustomed to seeing things as real and are accompanied by conceptual thoughts of characteristics. Therefore, the basis abides in their own continuum, and even if they are seized by an intention endowed with great skill and wisdom, it becomes mere faith. Therefore, although they claim to possess the three vows, their nature as monks, laypeople, things, outflows, etc., holds the Dharma as pure liberation, and because of the union of seemingly true means such as great compassion and inconceivable wisdom, it is rare for the qualities of the three vows to be transformed into the nature of upward possession and suppressed. Like dying from poison without mantra, there is no fault. Because one must diligently engage in practices related to time, the accumulation path is with the vows of misconduct, the preparation path is with the accumulation of virtuous dharmas, and the path of seeing is with the precepts of benefiting sentient beings as the main practice. The scriptures also teach that the temporary activities and the ultimate transformation of the vows are prophesied, and it is known that this is great wisdom. Therefore, in the place of practicing with faith, the three vows also abide distinctly when abiding, guard loosely when guarding, possess upwards when possessing, and when correcting, one must correct according to the tenets of each school, which also abides in the real meaning. As it is said in the "Pure Vehicle": Thus, individual liberation is undertaken for as long as one lives, but it is not said that one must abandon it when one obtains mantra, and Bodhi-

Because of the vow until enlightenment, because when obtaining mantra, the causes of degeneration and abandonment are not mentioned. Thus, for the three vows, preventing and prohibiting the arising of faults and sins, but there is no prevention of the arising of merits. Therefore, it is very important to distinguish the magnitude of the power of each precept and the difference between what is allowed and what is prohibited, both generally and specifically. As stated in the "Ratnavali": What is specific within the general, all scriptures praise. Therefore, the objects of learning of the three vows are not like contradictory substances, or residing in one place, like having a container for cleaning and putting in jewels, etc., which are examples of things fabricated by conceptual thought. One should understand the principle of establishing a connection with the continuum of the individual. Thus, after taming the continuum with the discipline of the vows, one learns the discipline of accumulating virtuous dharmas. The six perfections and the two accumulations, causing unborn qualities to arise, increasing qualities that have already arisen, accumulating virtuous dharmas, are called discipline, which is included in the training of the mind. The virtue that is held by love and compassion is, wherever benefiting sentient beings is giving. In this regard, having no self-interest is morality, and having no weariness for the sake of others is patience. In particular, engaging with joy is diligence, focusing single-mindedly on the meaning of sentient beings is meditation, and abandoning attachment to reality and characteristics is wisdom. The six perfections are never separate. All four modes of conduct are endowed with mindfulness and awareness. The collection of virtues in a completely pure place of conduct, even the lifting and lowering of the feet in walking is the path of the six perfections. Engaging effortlessly and spontaneously, the completion of accumulation is very rapid. Thus, all the qualities of the cause of Buddhahood are completely encompassed by the six perfections or the two accumulations of their nature, therefore it is called the discipline of accumulating virtuous dharmas. This is also the principle of practicing based on the six minds. It is said in the "Compendium": A Bodhisattva who strives for the discipline of accumulating virtuous dharmas, in summary, should examine six minds individually. What are the six? They are: the mind of contempt, the mind of laziness, the mind of defilement, the mind that is completely weary from seeking, and the mind that has obstacles. Thus, the respective unfavorable aspects.
