The defeat of sexual intercourse is called falling from the Brahma conduct. The second defeat of taking what is not given is: The story is that in Rajagriha, the monk Norchen stole the trees of King Ajatashatru in order to build his own house, and therefore it was established. The basis is: an object owned by another person that has a complete value, and the measure of value is one-fourth of a Karshapana. Burnt ashes of shells are combined with balls and petals to be eaten, and twenty shells are one Kakani. Four Kakani is one Mashaka, which is eighty shells. Twenty Mashaka is one Karshapana, which is one thousand six hundred shells. One-fourth of that is four hundred shells, which is the measure of the value of Mashaka. In general, the value changes with time. When the Buddha was alive, twenty Mashaka was one Karshapana, but in the time of Master Shakya Light, the value decreased, and sixty Mashaka were considered one Karshapana. Here, as stated in the root Sutra, the medium measure is five Mashaka. So, in the time of Ljangdor, the owner of Relpachen (c. 815-836), it was determined according to the Indian way. If calculated in gold tang, one Mashaka is two gold Seba. Five of them are one-fourth of a Karshapana, which is ten gold Seba, or barley, etc. As it says in the Vinaya Karika: Stealing one-fourth of a Karshapana, the thief will lose the precepts. Thus, the thought is knowing that it is another's object, the motivation is greed for another's wealth and wanting to steal it, the action is taking possession of it through body and speech, and ultimately stealing it oneself, or having someone else steal it, the object is complete, and one generates the thought of obtaining it. The third defeat of killing is: The story is that in the Lamp Tree Garden of the Abandoned Land, sixty meditators practiced the contemplation of impurity, and because their bodies were impure, they were disgusted, so they had the monk Deshyin kill Sbeg, and therefore it was established. The basis is a human being, or a human fetus, a different continuum from oneself. The thought is unerringly recognizing the object as the one to be killed, the motivation is hatred or belonging to the Da'i, with the intention of killing, the action is poison, weapon, or praising death to him and causing him to die, or having someone else kill him, and rejoicing in the killing, etc., as conditions.

That is, the life of the one to be killed is ultimately cut off before oneself. Even if one person kills, all monks involved in the killing plan commit Pārājika. As stated in the Treasury of Knowledge (Abhidharmakośa): "For a single purpose, such as war, all are like the executor." The fourth Pārājika is lying. The basis is that five hundred fishermen in Vaishali (Yangs pa can) were ordained and relied on lies about superior human qualities to establish it. The basis is that the object to whom one speaks is a human being with five characteristics, gathered from a lineage other than one's own: able to speak, able to understand meaning, consciousness naturally present, neither male nor female, and not hermaphrodite. What is spoken is, in terms of sound, any worldly or transcendental quality superior to the desire realm, from the first dhyana up to Buddhahood. For example, worldly dharmas, for humans and non-humans, gods and nāgas, etc., the thirteen types of beings, like saying one sees forms without seeing them, like saying one hears sounds without hearing them, the manner in which they come to see me, and the four types of deception such as conversing with them, and being of the same group as those four deceptions, they see me, I hear sounds, they come to see me, and the four types such as they converse with me, making eight in total. Transcendental dharmas, saying one has entered the stream without having attained the path of seeing for oneself as a Śrāvaka, saying one has attained the once-returner although only one birth remains in the desire realm, saying one has attained the non-returner without exhausting birth in the desire realm, saying one has attained Arhatship without abandoning the objects to be abandoned of the peak of existence, claiming to be a Pratyekabuddha without attaining the result by relying on the twelve links of dependent origination, and things like saying one has attained superior qualities of the noble ones without having attained them. By transforming thoughts and consciousness, with the motivation of desiring to lie, through actions, even without a collection of qualities more excellent than supernormal powers, etc., fabricating that one has them. Being one's own, related to oneself, not mistaken, clear, and spoken directly. Speaking to a person with speech possessing these six characteristics.

Not speaking with the false, base arrogance of a lama, or agreeing with what others say. Ultimately, if others understand it that way, it is a defeat. Like this, whichever of the four things just mentioned is applied to, if its own causal conditions or all the limbs are not complete, it is a gross offense; if complete, it becomes a defeat. Similarly, taking killing as an example, if one kills a non-human being, it is a gross offense in the form of the basis; if one kills a sentient being of an animal that has a name, it is a concordant offense to defeat, or a misdeed similar to defeat. Going into battle is a concordant offense. If one kills an emanation or an image, it is a misdeed to be restrained. In the case of not giving, if one takes what is possessed by a non-human, it is a gross offense similar to defeat. During the act, if the thought of stealing arises, it is a misdeed to be confessed. Taking back what has been given, hiding for the sake of laughter, and sitting on a seat without being instructed are all misdeeds to be restrained. In the case of unchaste conduct, emitting semen with desire, touching a woman, speaking obscene words clearly, acting as a mediator, etc., are all concordant offenses, or misdeeds similar to the basis of defeat. Happiness arising from improper attention, and happiness arising from the imprints of dreams, etc., are to be restrained. In the case of lying, slander and harsh words, etc., are all misdeeds similar to defeat. Pointing indirectly and relying on a slight fabrication to accuse, etc., are all misdeeds to be restrained, and these are common with a novice monk. The thirteen remaining offenses of the Sangha, as stated in the "Words Showing the Good Path": "If this offense occurs, the bedding and food, etc., are used as leftovers after the elder Sangha, the middle Sangha, and the younger Sangha, so it is called Sangha residue." Like this, in his continuum there still remains the remainder of pure vows, and relying on the Sangha, whatever offenses of transgression of precepts are remedied by the name of Sangha residue can be purified, but because he is in the lower rank of the Sangha and uses the remainder of food and drink, he is called Sangha residue. There are also divisions of this: five attachments to inner sentient beings, and two attachments to outer resources, these seven arise from the side of desire. Two arise from harm, and four arise from instruction, totaling thirteen. The first is the Sangha residue of expulsion, which is
