The main thing is discipline. On the path of application, the main thing is the discipline of accumulating virtuous Dharma. On the path beyond the world, the main thing is the discipline of benefiting sentient beings. If we consider the continuum of one person, then in the small stage of the accumulation path, one should strive to learn the precepts of the first person. In the middle stage of the accumulation path, one should strive to learn the precepts of the middle person. The third person should strive to learn the precepts of the third person. So it is said. Therefore, for the first Bodhisattvas, considering that they will naturally be far away from the faults of misdeeds, the ordained Bodhisattvas are particularly superior. As it is said in the Ornament of the Sutras: "The qualities of the ordained are endowed with immeasurable qualities. Therefore, it is said that the Bodhisattvas who are diligent in vows are superior to the householder Bodhisattvas." In accordance with this, a detailed explanation is given in the Fierce Interrogation Sutra, which will be presented below. However, the Bodhisattva vow itself does not establish the distinction of individual liberation. The Bodhisattva's own vow does not have the characteristics and rituals of individual liberation. The previous practice and great mental strength are like Indra Bhuti, who relies mainly on thought. In this regard, a sutra called "The Sutra of the Four Dharmas of Individual Liberation of the Bodhisattva" has been translated into Tibetan, but it does not explain the differences in the precepts of bodily and verbal misconduct as explained in the Vinaya, nor does it separately explain the differences in rituals, but says: "Shariputra, whoever is a Bodhisattva who has renounced the household life, whoever is diligent in manifesting the limbs of enlightenment, should restrain himself with the vows of individual liberation, and abide in the rituals, the realm of conduct, and perfect conduct, and fear even the slightest faults, and the actions of body, speech, and mind are completely purified, and he should correctly receive and practice with pure enjoyment." Therefore, although the Bodhisattva has taken the vows of individual liberation as a branch of merit, his continuum is not an individual liberation practitioner who likes peace, and the Four Noble Truths are also transferred to other aspects, and the differences in time and renunciation are also explained in the Upasaka Interrogation Sutra.

Sa. The Pratimoksha of a Bodhisattva refers to the precepts that are followed until enlightenment. I say that this precept does not lead to downfall arising from attachment. As stated in the sutra, one should ascertain the reason for the absence of inherent existence of attachment, which is in accordance with this, but the Pratimoksha does not emphasize the mind of renunciation like the Pratimoksha. Generally, the explanation of the term "Pratimoksha" is that Pratimoksha is the cause, and it becomes the name of the result, that is, Pratimoksha. As shown in the path of virtue: "This path leads to Pratimoksha, so it is called the path of Pratimoksha, just as the road to a city is called the city road." Or, because it individually liberates from sins, it is called individual liberation or precepts. By learning it, one can become pure and liberated, or it is a vow not to give up the special desire for perfect merit. Or, because it protects and liberates, it is called protection and liberation, because it protects us from evil deeds, afflictions, and the suffering of evil destinies. Or, because it is an ordinary person, it has the nature of falling, so it will fall. Bound by karma and afflictions, wandering in the ignorant evil destinies, in order to protect and liberate from this suffering, it is called protecting from falling, that is, liberating from suffering. This is a statement that regards the cause as the result, just like "entering the river of happiness is happiness." Therefore, apart from fearing that one will revolve in samsara due to karma and afflictions, and wander in evil destinies, thereby protecting oneself from falling and liberating from it, there is no other purpose. The sole goal of a Bodhisattva is to benefit others, so the name Pratimoksha does not apply to them. However, the Bodhisattva holds the continuum of precepts, which is bound by the Pratimoksha precepts, so it should be understood as merely being called the Pratimoksha of a Bodhisattva. As stated in the "Ksitigarbha Ten Wheel Sutra": "The pure precepts of a Bodhisattva are of two kinds: common and uncommon. The common ones are the precepts of a layperson or
