Therefore, the four truths of meditative concentration have thirty-six aspects, and the four truths of the formless realm also have thirty-six aspects. In total, from the perspective of objects, realms, and inverted ways of engaging, there are one hundred and twelve to be abandoned by the path of seeing. The *Compendium of Topics* states: "The one hundred and twelve afflictions are the types of afflictions to be abandoned by the path of seeing." Secondly, the way of abandoning them is: by means of the preparatory practices of ascertainment, the seeds of what is to be abandoned by the path of seeing are abandoned in a way that suppresses them. By means of the patience of knowing the Dharma, etc., they are abandoned in a way that eradicates them. That is, with respect to each moment of the four truths and what is to be abandoned by them, one becomes an antidote to defilements in stages. With respect to the arising of wisdom, since the two paths of the uninterrupted path and the path of liberation are not seen when the patience of Dharma arises, it is called the path of seeing. As stated in the *Ten Bhūmi Sūtra*: "When a Bodhisattva abides in Suchness, at that time, he enters the first bhūmi. From there, he gradually purifies the higher bhūmis and enters the realm of the Tathāgata." At that time, by realizing the distinction that the element of Dharma pervades all self and others, with the noble Bodhicitta of equality between self and others, one engages in benefiting others as one does oneself, thus the perfection of generosity is most prominent. The distinction of its qualities is that there are one hundred and twelve qualities that can be shown in an instant, as well as eyes, clairvoyance, and immeasurable miraculous powers. That is, from being able to behold the faces of one hundred Buddhas in one hundred moments to being able to take birth as the king of Jambudvīpa, as explained in the sixth chapter. From then on, in the path of cultivation of the noble ones: At the end of the ten bhūmi continuum, with the vajra-like samādhi, after destroying the obscurations of knowledge, one manifests enlightenment. The remainder are the nature of the path of cultivation. The basis of the body is not limited to male or female beings of the three realms, and many births occur among gods of the desire and form realms. As stated in the *Ornament of the Sūtras*: "Intentionally taking existence." Therefore, it is possible to be born in other realms as well. The basis of the mind is the fourth dhyāna. The cause is the three: the accumulation, application, and seeing paths of the Great Vehicle. The result is the path of no more learning. The characteristic is the Mahāyāna path of cultivation, which is cut off from the second bhūmi upwards to the end of the ten bhūmi continuum.

It can be used to represent terms. This arises after the completion of the Mahayana Seeing Path, and is sustained by the virtues of one's own path, becoming the cause for the first moment of the Mahayana Path of No More Learning to arise. The definition is that which is included in the cycle of the nature of the ten bhumis, sustained by virtue. The divisions are that the Path of Cultivation is divided into small, medium, and large, each of which is further divided into three, thus making nine. Among these, the smallest of the small is the second bhumi, Vimala (Immaculate). The situation of the first bhumi is that one cannot abide in mindfulness with regard to subtle errors of transgression, whereas the second bhumi has the complete quality of being able to abide in mindfulness. This bhumi does not engage in subtle errors of transgression, or is naturally pure, so the paramita of morality is predominant, and because it does not possess all the defilements of immoral conduct, it is called the Immaculate Bhumi. As it says in the Ornament: 'Because it is free from the defilement of striving for immoral conduct, it is called the Immaculate Bhumi.' The medium of the small is the third bhumi, Prabhakari (Illuminating). The situation of the second bhumi is that one cannot enter into all worldly samadhis, and one cannot fully grasp the meaning of what is heard, whereas the third bhumi has the complete quality of being able to grasp what is heard and to manifest samadhi. This is because of the ascetic endurance of manifesting all worldly samadhis, so the paramita of patience is predominant, and because of obtaining these samadhis, it has immeasurable light of wisdom that transcends the world, therefore it is called the Illuminating Bhumi. As it says: 'It is the great light of Dharma, therefore it is called the Illuminating Bhumi.' The largest of the small is the fourth bhumi, Archishmati (Radiant). The situation of the third bhumi is that although one has obtained all worldly samadhis, one cannot repeatedly abide in the dharmas of the limbs of enlightenment as they were obtained, and one cannot abandon the mind of equanimity with regard to the Dharma and meditative absorption, whereas the fourth bhumi has the complete quality of being able to abandon them. This is because one is completely liberated from the expression of speech and mind without interruption, so one abides in the dharmas of the limbs of enlightenment, therefore the diligence of
