Only enlightenment can be attained. Therefore, our own country does not have a separate Vinaya Pitaka. In the Mahayana path, those who are capable, through the means of what exists, aim at the emptiness of the self of a person, the emptiness of the apprehended and the apprehender by other things, and the emptiness of phenomena, which is established by its own nature, which is imputed by thought, and in conjunction with the accumulations of three countless eons, gradually traverse the five paths and ten bhumis. Having completely abandoned the afflictive obscurations of grasping at the self of a person and the cognitive obscurations of grasping at phenomena, one aspires to unsurpassed enlightenment, which possesses the fruit of the three bodies. In terms of the result, there are three types of nirvana: nirvana with remainder, nirvana without remainder, and non-abiding nirvana. It is also accepted that there are classifications of the three bodies of the Buddha, and that the Dharmakaya has two types: the Svabhavikakaya and the Jnanadharmakaya, as well as the classifications of spontaneous accomplishment and continuous non-cessation. These are only the essential points of the philosophical schools, and detailed characteristics should be understood in the 'Garland of Precious Tenets'. The supreme secret of the speech of the Tathagata is the Great Vehicle, the definitive meaning of Madhyamaka. Among these, the sound and meaning exist in two parts, and the sound of expression is merely established as words that abandon the two extremes. As it is said in the sutra: 'Truth and falsehood are also extremes, existence and non-existence are also extremes, therefore, the wise abandon both extremes and do not abide in the middle.' The meaning of Madhyamaka is solely the way of uniting the two truths. Among these, there are two types: Prasangika and Svatantrika. First, the Svatantrika: 'All that appears is established as conventional truth, with the characteristic of being like an illusion; ultimate truth is not established, like the sky. This is the view of the Madhyamaka Svatantrika.' As it is said in the 'Destruction of Confusion': 'The conventional truth with an object, in the ultimate truth, the object and the subject are all liberated.' Like this, all that appears, from the perspective of conventional truth, appears like an illusion, but in ultimate truth, it is not established as true in the slightest, like the sky. That is, from the perspective of the basis of imputation, all phenomena are established as conventional truth and ultimate truth depending on the mind, and even though they are not truly established in nature, it is believed that they are established by their own nature in terms of convention, therefore it is called Svatantrika. Among these, the classification of not accepting ultimate truth as an object of knowledge, etc.
