Thirty-three. One hundred and ninety Defeat offenses. Eleven Confession offenses, one hundred and twelve Misdeeds, the Bhikshuni has one hundred and eleven more than the Bhikshu. The eight Parajikas are: on top of the four that are common with the Bhikshu, adding touching a man, leaning the body, concealing, and reversing, making eight. Among the twenty remaining, the mediating offense, and the seven from unfounded to displeasure are common. The thirteen that are not common are: taking anything and causing to take. Without appointment and overnight, causing to go astray. Crossing water, speaking badly, taking the wealth of the dead. Tolerating, abandoning, quarreling. Relying and causing to rely. That is, elsewhere it is said that it is meaningless to speak of the Bhikshuni vows in Tibet, so that's it. That is, among the seven types of offenses, the first is the Parajika, which destroys the root of the vows. If the limbs are not complete, it is a Misdeed similar to a Parajika. Depending on the actual situation is the Gross offense. Similar offenses have already been mentioned directly. Later, whether it can be restored or not depends entirely on whether the intention to conceal arises. Therefore, one should proclaim one's own faults to others, not concealing, not hiding, just as the stainless light Bhikshuni was deluded by drug mantras and lost her vows, and later regretted and confessed to the Bhikshus. If one conceals one's own faults, not letting others see them, and specializes in picking on the faults of others, this is not good. The Sutra of the Ten Wheels of Ksitigarbha says: What kind of Bhikshu is shameless and without embarrassment? Sentient beings renounce in my teachings for the sake of living, and after renouncing, all the vows of individual liberation are destroyed, shameless and without embarrassment, not fearing the suffering of future lives, the body is rotten and full of filth, like a Kala worm. Treating the sound of a conch shell like a dog. Always lying, without true words. Controlled by stinginess, jealousy, ignorance, and arrogance. Far from the three supreme deeds. Attached to profit, respect, and fame. Fond of the six objects. The mind of desire is distracted, this is a shameless and unembarrassed Bhikshu.

O! Thus it is said. As it is also said in "Teaching the Good Path": Concealing transgressions will become the cause of losing discipline. Being mindful of discipline, cherishing the precepts greatly, and diligently practicing calm abiding and insight will become the cause of abiding in discipline. And, there are two types, distinguished by purity and impurity: craving, wrong views, arrogance, unreal thoughts, non-contamination, and complete possession are pure discipline. The opposite of this is impure. There are two kinds of purity, divided into two types: that which is completely purified without transgression is the completely pure discipline without transgression. That which is completely purified after correcting transgressions is the completely pure discipline of restoration. And so on, there are extensive classifications. Therefore, corrected discipline arises from the actions of body and speech, and uncorrected discipline is transformed from beyond the realm of what is known by the mind. If one does not fully comprehend all that becomes the antidote to holding discipline and asceticism as supreme, discipline will not become pure. Why is that? It is ridiculous to assume that one has protected what one does not know how to protect. Knowing only the transgressions makes purification easy. The first of the four doors through which transgressions arise is considered by Asanga to be ignorance. The basis of the precepts to be practiced are the three matters of ritual, etc., and the seventeen precepts are the discipline of entering. Among these, the actions of body and speech that are permitted by the Tathagata are the discipline of entering, and not doing what is forbidden is the discipline of abstaining. Therefore, there is no way to not know the precepts of the Vinaya when one knows such entering and abstaining. Even if there is one instance of improper guarding, the natural offense will become an aid to generating the mind of discipline. Just as the teacher Asanga considered ignorance to be the primary cause of transgressing the prescribed transgressions, the same is true for natural offenses. Therefore, the causes for abandoning the vows and for correcting them again should also be explained in passing. Generally, there are four causes for abandoning the precepts: in the presence of someone who understands the language, from the depths of one's heart.
