Among the two methods of remedy, which are remedy by rebuke (Tibetan: ནན་ཏུར་) and remedy by confession, the first is: intimidation, cursing, expulsion, and dismissal, these are four. Non-restoration, rejection, and suspension, these are two, making six in total. Expelling the unseen from the dwelling, non-restoration, having wrong views, quarreling, approaching the cause of quarreling, dwelling in intimacy with nuns, not pacifying after thoroughly refuting the Dharma, these seven expulsions are combined into one, mixed with the previous six, and are called the seven rebukes, meaning to place in a lower position and degrade. This also requires that there is no prohibition from the Sangha's transformation, the actor is qualified, it is not during the summer, there is recollection and narration, those who should be informed and admonished are informed, and one is restrained from evil deeds and their causes, thereby allowing the transgression to be remedied. Thus, when confessing transgressions by relying on rebuke, the qualified Sangha should perform the ritual properly, accepting the forgiveness that naturally abides, and then joy should arise. Remedy by confession is: wanting to hide the committed transgression is the mind of concealment, and the verbal action produced by that motivation is the transgression of concealment, which is also included among the four causes of falling into hell, as it is said in the Maitreya Lion's Roar Sutra: These four go to hell like an arrow shot, being jealous of others' gains, criticizing faults with discipline after hearing the Vinaya and the Sutra of the Land, concealing faults with arrogance even though transgressing the teachings and precepts, and knowingly enjoying what is given with faith. Thus, a monk who knows the difference between transgressions and non-transgressions and remembers, from the remaining abandoned use of the Sangha, if he conceals for more than one night, and associates with any of the four defeats, that transgression cannot be remedied in this life, because the continuum has become incurable. Such a person should be expelled from the Sangha, but if he is a holder of the Pitaka, he is not allowed to enjoy with the Sangha, but should be cared for with residence, enjoyment, offerings, etc., and if such a person does not accept the request for forgiveness, from that time on...

When the value of obtaining the Dharma is complete, it is said that defeat will occur for the Sangha. Here, what is appropriate to restore is the absence of concealing any offense. Starting from the Mind-Only School, after stating things to the Sangha and confessing, the Bhikshu vows of the four karmas are given again, followed by the disciplinary precepts of the punishment karma. In this way, one accepts five inferior behaviors for as long as one lives, and is taught to abandon five special behaviors. When he attains Arhatship, he will naturally abide, because all the causes of error have been exhausted and abandoned. As it is said in the "Radiant One": "Give precepts to the disciple who is happy to learn and does not give rise to a mind of concealment!" When defilements are exhausted, one should enter the ranks as before. Therefore, precepts are the karma of punishment, not the precepts of vows. Therefore, for a person who does not conceal, even if he offers precepts and then regains them, it is possible to generate Bhikshu vows, and it is the same for a novice. If a common root downfall occurs and giving precepts becomes an obstacle, it is not necessary to give precepts. Because it does not form from the perspective of the basis, just as there is no harvest or hail without a field, one will not gain merit or downfall. Similarly, the thirteen remaining offenses and coarse offenses, etc., should be restored sequentially according to their weight. And, those that can be restored should be restored, and those that cannot be restored should be blessed, etc., these should be understood from the ritual. In short, for what was done before, like regretting drinking poison, like loathing that thing as if vomiting, like constantly using antidotes as if relying on medicine, like not drinking poison again afterwards, there is no sin that cannot be purified by the four powers of restoration. The precepts to be practiced are, from the seventeen things mentioned in the Vinaya-vastu as the basis of the three precepts, the three basic rituals Here, the methods for purifying the essence of morality, namely, Uposatha, Vassa, and Pravarana, are mainly discussed as the three bases. First, regarding the basis of Uposatha, it was permitted in the Radiant Garden of Rajagriha at the request of many Upasakas. Through it, all previous obstacles can be eliminated, and
