Repeatedly contemplate the way of connecting with inexhaustible aspirations. As it is said in the Sutra of the Saltwater River: "Wives and children, royal power and great wealth, and flesh, blood, fat, body, and eyes, I have given away for the sake of others' joy. Benefiting sentient beings is the best offering to me, harming sentient beings is harming me." Therefore, my body is like a heap of impure vomit, and life is as fleeting as a violent storm. Both of these follow karma and are subject to the control of others. Even if guarded in every way, they are still vulnerable to fire, water, cliffs, kings, wild animals, thieves, and so on, which can cause great harm. Therefore, I am not the master of myself. Even if it were not so, as it is said in the Inquiry of King Clear Vision: "Great King, even if you ride on an elephant's saddle, or on horseback, or in a chariot, blowing conches, beating drums, clay drums, hand drums, playing various musical instruments, holding umbrellas, victory banners, flags, and victory streamers, waving jeweled-handled fans, fly whisks, and palm-leaf fans, with elephants, cavalry, and small troops following behind, princes, Brahmins, educated ministers, guides, and hundreds and thousands of people with folded hands paying homage to you, proclaiming 'Victory! Victory!' But after enjoying all this, before long, you will lie motionless in bed and die, carried away by four people. Fathers, mothers, siblings, wives, sons and daughters, relatives, servants, and laborers, those who live on leftovers, ministers, and city dwellers will all be overcome with grief, raising their hands and beating their chests, crying out, 'Alas, the young one! Alas, the protector! Alas, the man! Alas, the master!' Those in long robes and the city dwellers will look on with fear, carrying the body out through the south gate of the city, burying it underground, or..."

Even if buried underground, they are eaten by crows, vultures, foxes, and so on, and those bones are either burned by fire, thrown into water, or even if buried underground, they are ground into powder by wind, sun, and rain, scattered in all directions, and rot there. Great king, the nature of all bodies is like this: impermanent like this, unstable like this, unreliable like this, having the nature of complete destruction, short-lived, not abiding, shaking, moving, ultimately decaying, momentary, ultimately sinful, the gate of exhaustion and destruction, and so on, having the nature of complete destruction. And also, one should not be attached to the pleasures of kingship, power, and enjoyment of desires. One should not be complacent with the fullness of life and health. As it is said, thinking about when one will be able to give this body, which one must inevitably abandon involuntarily in the end, to others? And one should repeatedly train the mind in giving from thought. If one does not train in this way, one cannot mature the intention, and it is also said in the Compendium of Trainings that one has not yet experienced the moment when one can give one's body and life. Similarly, in the Jataka tales, it is said: A body that is selfless, decaying, and without essence, a body that is free from the stain of suffering and always impure, if one can benefit others with this body, one who does not rejoice is not wise. And in the Bodhisattvacharyavatara, it is said: At the same time as giving everything away, giving to sentient beings is the most supreme. Like this. These are the ones who are first made accustomed. The hand of a person bound by miserliness, from one hand to the other, repeatedly transferring the thought of giving, one trains when attachment to vegetables and so on diminishes and strength increases. For those who initially have a strong bond of miserliness, just like a miserly householder in the past, he was made to hold a small amount of meager objects of giving in one of his hands, and then he was taught to give it to the other hand, and eventually he was able to give vast generosity, in the same way, we ourselves should first accustom ourselves to the mind of giving from small things such as vegetables, and later the power of wisdom will increase more and more. In the Bodhisattvacharyavatara, it is said: Even for giving vegetables and so on, the guide initially
