It is none other than fully embracing the Dharma that is the Dharma. If someone becomes angry and plunges all sentient beings in the ten directions of the world into darkness, and another becomes angry and turns their back on a Bodhisattva, thinking it easy even if they cannot see those who are untamed, then that person generates immeasurably more sin. If someone kills all the sentient beings of Jambudvipa and steals all their possessions, and another disparages any Bodhisattva, then this sin generates immeasurably more sin than the former. Therefore, other than the act of slandering a Bodhisattva, nothing else can cause a Bodhisattva to fall into the lower realms. It is said in the Sutra of Utterly Peaceful Determination of Miraculous Transformation, and also in the Compendium: "Whatever Bodhisattva who has not received a prophecy, if they become angry with one who has received a prophecy and initiates a dispute, then for as many instants as there are faulty thoughts of anger, for that many eons they must put on armor from the beginning." Therefore, for as long as the thought of anger arises, for that long they must travel the path from the beginning, and thus, the path to perfect enlightenment is extremely long. Acting with deceit and pretense: Deceit is concealing one's own faults by means of skillful methods, and pretense is pretending to have qualities that one does not possess. These two combined deceive others, exemplified by cheating on scales, referring to all thoughts of self-gain and deceiving others. Thus, although many sets of four black dharmas have been taught, here it is from the Questions of Kashyapa. Kashyapa, possessing four dharmas, one will forget the mind of enlightenment. What are the four? Deceiving the lama and those worthy of offerings, causing others to regret things they should not regret, speaking ill of Bodhisattvas who have generated the mind of enlightenment with a mind of anger, and treating sentient beings with deceit and pretense. Like this. Furthermore, in the Questions of Maitreya, there are also four: pretense, deceit, being two-faced with the lama, and clinging to gain and respect. And so forth, although four sets of four dharmas have been spoken, Indra Bhuti and the founder of the chariot
