Satva. At the rising of dawn, possessor of great compassion. Possessor of great kalpas, you rise in Jambudvipa. As soon as you rise, please bless me with joy and compassion. Bodhisattva Akashagarbha, please convey these words of mine to the one with great compassion. May it appear in my dreams, and I will confess my sins through this method. Please grant me the means and wisdom to attain the noble Mahayana, I pray fervently, and offer the seven-branch offering. Due to the differences in each individual's capacity, this will show the method of liberation from sins through direct or symbolic means. If no signs are seen, then as before, perform purification and bathing at dawn. Facing east, with the right knee on the ground, remember the noble Akashagarbha. With great devotion, offer the seven-branch offering, and with great diligence, at dawn, great compassionate one, great goodness, as soon as you rise in Jambudvipa, please cover me with compassion. Akashagarbha, possessor of great compassion, also, with my words, quickly urge you, by whatever means, I wish to quickly confess my sins, and please show in my dream the method by which I will obtain the means and wisdom to attain the noble Mahayana. After saying this, go to sleep, and when dawn rises, the noble Akashagarbha will show an image in the dream that corresponds to one's own capacity, thereby allowing sins to be confessed. If they are those who are accustomed to deity yoga, then focus on the yidam itself, recite the unique seven-branch offering, and rise from sins through confession. In general, for those with sharp faculties, sins appear from the beginning as forms of conceptualization that are without inherent existence, just as drawing lines on water or carving patterns in the wind, it does not leave any habitual imprints or images of the cause and effect of sins, but for those who alternately engage in shamatha and vipashyana, the Sutra of Great Liberation Expanding in All Directions says: If one wishes to purify misdeeds, sit upright and look correctly. Look correctly at reality, and having seen reality, one is liberated. This is called the supreme purification of misdeeds. However, beginners should examine the nature of sins and explain it accordingly.

Our increase is not knowing the boundary of that place. If it is purified by seeing emptiness, then even the secret word of far throwing will have meaning. Therefore, with a stable experience of reality, experiencing the meaning of no confession and no falling away, and the way of confession, as it is said in the Bodhisattva Pitaka: Any Bodhisattva who knows that karma is gone and that there is no other ripening, then he obtains the complete purification of the obscuration of wisdom. Like that. The two just said are aimed at those of medium capacity. It is best for beginners to rely on the four powers. However, being too old, or entering the path too early, is just that, not the name of a beginner. Although this is well known in the world, it is extremely unreasonable. The child ordinary person spoken of by the Tathagata refers to the characteristics of his mind, not wanting his own suffering, but wanting the cause of suffering, such as harming others. Therefore, mutually incompatible

In the Sutra of [missing name], it says: The more powerful the offering to the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, the more powerful it is, and it depends on how pure the mind is, the more powerful it is. Ananda, if one says, "I prostrate to the Buddha," Ananda, the meaning of that phrase is this: the sound of the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, is not meaningless. Whoever says, "I prostrate to the Buddha," that will not be meaningless. Even if one generates a very small root of virtue towards the Thus-gone Ones, it will not be wasted. Even generating a single thought of pure mind, in the end, all will attain Nirvana. Thus, there is scriptural authority representing everything, but the burden of the words is heavy! The power of restoration is: henceforth, even if one's life is at stake, one vows not to do any action that would lead to sin and downfall. In general, regarding these downfalls, one should also understand the differences in the total entanglement based on the specific object. For example, harming sentient beings due to anger, and harming the sacred Dharma due to ignorance, both of these are great total entanglements. Other than that, attachment, hatred, and so on, are small total entanglements. In any case, one should please with the four opponent powers and the seven-branch offering, and confess in this way. If the object of confession is actually present, then, "Bodhisattva Mahasattva, please listen. I, named so-and-so, have committed this and that downfall. For the sake of all sentient beings, please purify it through confession." Reciting this three times, the object of confession will say, "Do you see those sinful downfalls as sinful downfalls? Will you guard them well in the future?" In response, one says, "I do see them as such, and I will guard them." It is said in the Bodhisattva Grounds that by saying this, one is liberated from sins. If it is not actually present, then: To the perfect Buddhas and Bodhisattvas who reside in all directions, to all those who possess great compassion, I join my palms and pray: From beginningless samsara, in this life or in other lives, the sins I have unknowingly committed, or the sins I have caused others to commit, and being overwhelmed by the delusion of ignorance, whatever I have rejoiced in, having seen these faults, with a sincere heart, I confess to the protector. I, towards the Three Jewels, and my parents or other gurus,
