Due to the transformation of past habits and their root, the Alaya-consciousness, the generation of aspiration that abandons obscurations arises. This also occurs at the stage of Buddhahood, like a learner on the path, arising from rituals. Although sentient beings with samsaric consciousness do not initially possess this aspiration, all the qualities of that realm manifest, with the activity of great compassion, an aspiration that does not exceed its time, and the ultimate aspiration. This also means that once attained, there is no cause for decline, as it is inseparable from emptiness, which cannot be abandoned. Thus, the change of names in the four states is also established from the perspective of parts. Similarly, in accordance with the five paths, the Twenty Thousand Verse Prajnaparamita Sutra states: 'The aspiration of the initial practitioner, the aspiration of complete purification, the aspiration of seeing the Dharma, the aspiration of liberation, and the aspiration of the inconceivable. Subhuti, those who have not entered should be made to enter, those who have entered should be completely purified, the divine eye should be generated, the noble path of truth should be meditated upon, and the unobstructed eye of the Buddha should be attained.' Thus, it is taught in relation to the order of the five paths: the path of accumulation, the path of preparation, the path of seeing, the path of meditation, and the path of no more learning. Dividing into six aspects in relation to the six perfections, the former states: 'The mind endowed with the six perfections is vast, immeasurable, and not common to Hearers and Solitary Realizers.' The minds of Hearers and Solitary Realizers are weak and cannot attain Nirvana from the Great Vehicle path, thus becoming a great obstacle to attaining perfect Bodhi. As it is said: 'Falling into hell is not an ultimate obstacle to Bodhi, but Hearers and Solitary Realizers, these two become ultimate obstacles.' Thus, it is taught with the distinction of uncommon paths, along with the difference being measured. Dividing into ten boundaries in relation to the ten perfections, the Holy Sutra on Generating Faith states: 'What is skillful means? Skillfully knowing the collection of all Dharmas is skillful means. What is wisdom? Skillfully knowing the non-differentiation of all Dharmas is wisdom.' Thus, the ten perfections, which are gathered into the two, means and wisdom, are constantly practiced even by the Bodhisattvas of the ten Bhumis. Therefore, the two are mutually dependent, becoming cause and effect for each other.

In short, the parts of wisdom such as Prajñāpāramitā also transform into the principle of means, as it is also said in the 《Ārya Mañjuśrī-Nāma-Saṃgīti》: This omniscient wisdom is rooted in great compassion, possesses the cause of bodhi, and is the ultimate of means. As it is said. Bhadanta says: Thus, the samādhi of truly dwelling within, cultivating the ten aspects of bodhicitta. Thus, the cause of arising and accomplishment is shown. The difference of the earth realm has twenty-two kinds, Arya Maitreya said: That is, earth, gold, moon, fire, treasure and the source of precious jewels, sea, vajra, mountain, medicine, good friend, wish-fulfilling jewel, sun, song, king, treasury and great road, riding, adorned water, musical instrument, river, clouds, etc., there are twenty-two aspects. As the meaning of those metaphors is explained in the commentary of Pal Yeshe Drakpa, there are three kinds of aspiring mind and nineteen kinds of entering mind, as it is thought. The aspiring mind is the three of desire, thought, and superior thought. Among them, all dharmas mixed together with desire have the nature of desiring to realize bodhi, like the earth. Likewise, what is mixed with thought is the nature of the six perfections, because it is immutable, like fine gold. What is mixed with superior mind is the nature of wanting to cultivate the thirty-seven dharmas of bodhipakṣika, because it wants to increase all white dharmas, like the waxing moon. The nineteen aspects of the entering mind are: one mixed application, ten pāramitās such as giving, and on top of that, supernormal knowledge, possessing merit and wisdom, possessing bodhipakṣika, śamatha-vipassanā, dhāraṇī and fearlessness, dharma pleasure garden, one vehicle path, possessing dharmakāya. Among them, the three of aspiration are the bodhicitta of the small, medium, and large three of the accumulation path, established in the position of the first practitioner. Here, the first application of entering is like fire, which is the bodhicitta of the four of the application path. Likewise, giving is like a treasure, discipline is like the source of precious jewels, and patience is like the sea.
