That which is called "discriminating wisdom," what does it actually refer to? Because the words spoken by experiential reasoning are not truly existent, but rather wander about. In general, all the treatises of the Six Ornaments and Two Supremes, and especially having thoroughly understood the view of Madhyamaka based on Buddhapālita's commentary, therefore, when judging whether the newly arising tenets in the land of Tibet are reasonable or not, without any hesitation, being able to well instruct the objects of refutation by reason and the objects of refutation of the path, finally, at the entrance of solitude, the great spiritual friend Śāntapuri, relying on the lineage of the wisdom of the noble ones, said: The great sages see all, on the ladder that leads all beings to enlightenment, the three turnings of the wheel, the four tantra classes, etc., the great bell of the Dharma of Sutra and Tantra resounds throughout Jambudvipa. Having entered the palace of the Vinaya of good speech, the two hundred and fifty precepts of abandonment, and the seventeen precepts of acceptance, this is the order of the path of the first turning of the wheel. After the second collection in the noble land, the explanations of the Sutras and Shastras were divided into eighteen schools. The explanations of the Sarvastivada school were by Guṇaprabha and Śākyaprabha, and the six spiritual friends and other scholars of the noble land. That hidden meaning path order of the intermediate turning of the wheel, was explained by Maitreya Dharma Lord in the Tushita heaven. In the noble land, there were six transmissions of teachings. Although there are many ways of explaining the ornaments, the explanation of the noble Lion Sage is particularly excellent. Those tenets flowed into the heart-ocean of Ngok Lotsawa. Not falling into the abyss of eternalist and nihilist extreme views, climbing the ladder of the view of union, entering the palace of the Dharmakaya of definitive meaning. That directly shown path order of the final turning of the wheel, was explained by the noble Nāgārjuna in India. Bhāvaviveka and Buddhapālita, in the way of explaining the view of Nāgārjuna's feet, in the noble land, the Prasangika and Svatantrika schools were divided into two. All phenomena that are grasped never exist, and the consciousness that grasps is undoubtedly mistaken. Placing non-dual wisdom as the basis for purification, this is the order of the path of the final turning of the wheel. Maitreya Protector and Nāgārjuna Essence, explained with the Four Dharmas of Maitreya and the Collection of Praises treatises. The writings of the Asanga brothers are like the sunlight.

The meaning of the final year is most clear. In this land of snow mountains, the excellent treatises of Mipham Gyalwa and the Thokmé brothers are wondrous. Although there are many ways to explain Madhyamaka and Chittamatra separately, none deviate from the Middle Way. All Dharmas are skillfully guided from the path of reason, serving as the eyes to view all scriptures temporarily, and as the source of the path to ultimately attain omniscience. The tradition of Dharmakirti, Dignāga, and Prajñākara is supreme. In the sacred land of India, regarding the commentaries on the Seven Treatises on Logic, there are Devaśākya, Brāhmaṇa Ornament, and Dharmottara, among others. Some are merely strings of words with concise meanings, while others are composed by discerning scholars. Explaining with the Svabhāva-śūnya Yogācāra and the worldly conventional Madhyamaka, there are three ways of explanation in this land of snow mountains. Some, intoxicated by the wine of fame and desire, hold many wrong views, debating and refuting the words of the Victorious Ones (the tantras, āgamas, and upadeśas of the Early Translation School) and the valid treatises, as well as the translators and paṇḍitas who translated them. Some, here, with self-made fabrications, bind the explanations elucidated by previous great scholars into the invisible realm of the sky, and countless stars of self-desired tenets appear. The tradition of the Great Secret Tantras and the chariots of Madhyamaka and Chittamatra, the intention of Nāgārjuna, the two traditions of Prāsaṅgika and Svātantrika, the unparalleled excellent explanations that are well explained, most of those are explained as crooked paths. Scholars who explain according to valid treatises, upholding the explanations of previous scholars, when upholding the Buddha's teachings through teaching, debating, and writing, two teachings of the Omniscient Victorious Ones will arise. Those who claim to uphold the Buddha's teachings through listening and teaching, in order to destroy others' tenets and establish their own, use unfounded words, in the form of bubbles, and disturb the Buddha's teachings with debates that elevate their own side. Some abandon the listening and teaching of the Victorious Ones' words and commentaries, as well as valid treatises, and spend their lives listening and teaching the treatises fabricated according to their own desires, which is astonishing. With the empty sound of all Dharmas being empty from the beginning, they almost diminish practices such as generosity, becoming a tradition where view and conduct are unrelated, which existed in the past but has now been refuted. With asceticism that highly values conduct, they negate profound emptiness.
