Appearances are clearly like dreams and illusions. Although they are established only as appearing to arise in one's own mindstream, in ultimate reality, all phenomena of samsara and nirvana, from the objects of consciousness, the two truths, etc., are not established. As it is said in the Mother Prajñāpāramitā: "Rābhya, all phenomena are empty of inherent nature in ultimate reality, therefore nirvana is also unborn and unceasing." Therefore, the distinction and characteristics of the two truths are merely the establishment of their nature, and should be regarded as the conventional ultimate truth. However, in the face of the non-conventional ultimate truth, since it transcends the objects of knowledge and expression, it should be understood in a way that cuts off elaboration, because it is liberated from the erroneous imputation of one and many, existence and non-existence, etc., through reasoning. Moreover, it is well known that in the Madhyamaka treatises, the four great reasonings establish the ultimate truth as without arising or ceasing. In particular, each chapter of the Root Wisdom also has different types of reasoning that establish the subtle points of emptiness. For example, the first chapter of the Root Wisdom explains ten different elaborations and two different conclusions, totaling twelve. Here, for the time being, we will reason with the four well-known methods: the Diamond Slivers, the Arising and Ceasing of Existence and Non-existence, the Arising and Ceasing of the Four Extremes, and the Great Dependent Origination. First, examining the cause of what is to be refuted and then refuting what is to be refuted, as it is said in the Root Wisdom: "Not from self, not from other, not from both, not from no cause, at any time, in any place, there is no arising of phenomena." Therefore, the nature of phenomena, even just things, does not arise in ultimate reality from self, other, both, or no cause. For anything that does not arise, it is empty of all things that arise, just as there is no thing in mere generality. Second, examining the result of what is to be refuted and then refuting it, as it is said: "In the meaning of non-existence or existence, conditions are not reasonable, if there is nothing, what is the condition for? If there is something, what does the condition do?" Therefore, the nature of phenomena, this dependent origination of appearances, is also empty in ultimate reality of the three: the existence, non-existence, and arising of the result in the cause. Thus, whatever is empty of the existence, non-existence, and arising of the result in the cause, and is empty of all things that arise.

It is emptiness, for example, just as using self-nature to represent the absence of things. The third is to refute by analyzing both cause and effect, as it is said in "Entering the Two Truths": "Many do not make one thing, many do not make many things, one does not make many things, one does not make one thing." Therefore, the things that appear in this way, in reality, one arises from one, many arise from one, many arise from many, and one arises from many. The arising of these four ways is emptiness. For example, just like naming something that has no thing as space. The fourth is divided into two: using non-affirmation negation as the argument, analyzing the nature of the great dependent origination itself to refute; and using non-existence negation as the argument, separated from one and many. The first is: "Whatever arises from conditions, that is not born, it has no nature of being born." Therefore, the dependent origination is also separated from the eight extremes such as arising and ceasing, so it is the emptiness of true self-nature, for example, just like a mirage shaking, it is only the dependent origination that appears without stopping. The second is to reason through establishing the argument, establishing the subject property, and analyzing with certainty by valid cognition. Among them, the first is: if being separated from one and many is pervasive, then it is pervasive with the emptiness of true things. The second is what Master Aryadeva said: "Just as a moment has space, the beginning and middle should also be observed, because it is of the nature of three moments, the world does not dwell in a moment." Therefore, by inferring from the signs existing between day and night and morning and evening, or between the previous and subsequent moments, it is inferred to have three parts, thus establishing the subject property of existing separately from one without parts in the ultimate sense. The third is what the Lord of Reasoning said: "Whatever has the ability to function, it does not exist here in the ultimate sense." That is to say, merely negating that the existing dharma is the dharma of many, it becomes one. One is determined when it exists as a thing, because the dharma that merely exists is either one or many is pervasively determined, so this existing dharma itself, which is seen as the pervasive place of one and many, even if it is the ultimate dharma, destroys the ability to give rise to doubt that it is not pervaded by its single and many, therefore, for the ultimate dharma, one
