, and a path like this, and with diligence like this, one becomes manifestly perfectly enlightened. Manifestly perfectly awakened. One will become manifestly perfectly awakened. And those Tathagatas also became Tathagatas entirely, not manifestly perfectly enlightened. I also, in any case, will manifestly perfectly awaken to the unexcelled, perfectly complete enlightenment, with the diligence common to all sentient beings, and with the diligence focused on all sentient beings, I also seek in that way. I strive. As it is said. In particular, thinking that there is no time for life is the antidote, the way to be diligent by applying the mind. My life has reached the end of the day, quickly, quickly approached by the darkness of death. If it approaches, the actions of samsara are more numerous than the stars, and that breath will not come out. Like this, this life, like the sun heading towards the western mountain, is extremely unstable, so it should not be trusted, or there is no ability to stay long, so it is determined that the actions of samsara are like the stars, with many kinds, and there is no end to doing them, and even if there is, there is no meaning, after thinking about it, one should be diligent, as it is said in the Sutra Requested by King of Clear Light, Great King, the nature of the body of all is like this, like this impermanent, like this unstable, like this untrustworthy, like this is the nature of destruction, short, not abiding, shaking, moving, ultimately destroying, momentary, ultimately sinful, the door of exhaustion and destruction, ultimately the nature of separation, accompanied by destruction, much suffering and confusion, aging, destruction, decline, decay, scattering, is the nature of destruction. Therefore, Great King, you should contemplate impermanence, contemplate exhaustion, contemplate destruction, contemplate no attachment to desire, contemplate no hatred in anger, contemplate no ignorance in delusion, and you should not be attached to the power of the kingdom and the happiness of sensual enjoyment. Do not be complacent with the fullness of life and health. Why is that? Great King, obtaining desires, or obtaining them separately, or accumulating them, or extremely accumulating them, or relying on them, desires

I will not say that they will be satisfied. Those who are satisfied are satisfied with the wisdom of the noble ones. Furthermore, in the teachings of the renowned Vimalakirti of Licchavi, it is said: This body arises from various causes and conditions, and has no lord. This body is like the earth, without action. This body is like water, without a lord. This body is like fire, without life. This body is like wind, without a person. This body is like space, without inherent nature. This body is the abode of the great elements, and is not real. This body is like grass, trees, walls, puppets, and eye sockets, and is inanimate. This body arises with the movement of the wind, and has no sensation. This body is an accumulation of pus and impurities, it accumulates. This body is always anointed and massaged, and is of the nature of decay and separation, it is hollow. This body is tormented by four hundred and four diseases. This body is always oppressed by old age, like an old well. This body ultimately ends in death, and is ultimately impermanent. This body is completely seized by the aggregates, elements, and sense bases, like an executioner, a deadly poison, and an empty city. You should generate disgust and weariness towards such a body, and generate faith in the body of the Tathagata. Therefore, one must exert effort through contemplating the nature of the body as being extremely shaky and unstable, etc. This is well explained in the great collections of scriptures and is profound in meaning. The noble Nagarjuna also said: The Lord Buddha taught that contemplating and remembering the body is the means to the one and only path. Furthermore, if a fire suddenly breaks out on your head or clothes, even abandoning other tasks in order to prevent this, you should strive to ensure that there is no rebirth. There is nothing more important than this. This is the most urgent speech urging diligence. Similarly, the teacher Chandrakirti wrote to his disciple: The human body is extremely difficult to obtain, and once obtained, you should strive to accomplish whatever you deem meaningful. Like the flame of an oil lamp being blown by a strong wind, life...
