This should be understood through the example of how to make it into a path. When a hala tree grows in a garden, the owner, being unskilled in methods, uproots its trunk, branches, leaves, and even its roots completely, discarding them far away. Similarly, in the Hearer's Vehicle, one is certain to be liberated from samsara by realizing that the coarse external objects of grasping and the internal consciousness of grasping, along with their continuum, are without inherent existence. However, because they consider the grasped object—the subtle particles—and the grasping consciousness—the moment—to be truly existent, they diligently abandon afflictions as if they were enemies. Furthermore, if a skilled physician comes to that garden, he would say, "Hey, friends, uprooting the poisonous tree is laborious and toilsome, and our medicinal mixtures cannot do without the poisonous tree, so let's block it for now!" Then, he would make a medicinal paste from the poisonous tree, which would be beneficial for four hundred and four diseases. Similarly, in the Bodhisattva Vehicle, although the internal grasping consciousness is merely an appearance of delusion arising from conditions and is not truly established as real, the imputation of external objects is the completely imputed and the other-dependent. Therefore, through the wisdom that realizes the selflessness of the perfectly established, one knows that the object and consciousness do not arise separately, and one diligently applies the method of training and transforming afflictions and conceptual thoughts into the nature of reality. Thus, in the Bodhisattva's Pratimoksha Sutra, it says: "Shariputra, furthermore, if a Bodhisattva develops desire, upon seeing it correctly, he will seek from where that desire arises. When he searches completely, he will not find its source. From where that desire arises, by what that desire arises, how that desire arises, thus the arising of that is not found. Where it arises is not found, how it arises is not found. Since that desire is not found, he will not commit sinful actions because of the cause of desire, and his white dharmas will increase, and he will not be despised but praised," and so on, extensively explained. Again, if someone comes there who is skilled in the rituals of the mantra tantras and the wisdom of suchness, he would say that mixing the poisonous tree with medicine also requires many actions and involves grasping at things as real. This is mantra.

and mudras, and deity yoga, transforming into the nature of nectar with one, just as doing so, the poisonous tree also transforms into one that is even more complete in color, smell, taste, and ability in an instant. In the Vajrayana, there is no confusion about the method of transforming afflictions and conceptual thoughts into deities and wisdom, especially for those who see the true meaning of reality, just as a peacock flies in and eats the poisonous tree without acceptance or rejection, thereby making the body grow strong and the feathers become beautiful to look at. In the "Twenty Commitments" it says: "For those who possess great means, afflictions transform into limbs of enlightenment." And in the "Bodhisattva Pitaka" it says: "Son of the gods, whoever realizes those three doors of liberation and completely cuts off all elaborations, then he is the fully ordained monk of all the Shravakas of the Buddhas, the Bhagavad-ones, of the past, future, and present." Like this. In short, the Shravakas consider both truths to be substantially existent, therefore they abandon them with the Pratimoksha vows; the Bodhisattvas consider the conventional truth to be substantially existent, and purify it with emptiness and compassion; the Mantrayana purifies and liberates with the nature of the five wisdoms, thereby using it as the path, all three of which use the non-virtue of the same continuum as the precepts. The transformation of the essence will be explained in the section on mantra. Regarding the increase of qualities, in the "Great Net of Illusions Tantra" it says: "In the supreme and excellent vows, with the power of taming, discipline, all the trainings of the Bodhisattvas, without exception, are completely gathered and purified." Like this, all the trainings of the Shravakas and Bodhisattvas, in the time of mantra, are gathered into common and individual vows, the manner of which will be explained later. Moreover, the Pratimoksha vow is to abandon actions based on harming others, while the Bodhisattva vow completely accomplishes the benefit of others. The vows of mantra are also in accordance with this, practicing the activities of the Buddha, without moving from the state of great equanimity, with skillful means, accomplishing the benefit of sentient beings as desired, this is the main activity of both the Bodhisattva Pitakas. In the commentary on the "Compendium of Sutras" it also says that the pure intention of the Bodhisattva is the main activity, because sentient beings
