The tree, the land demonstrator, the one with red robes, are the Vibhajyavāda and its seven sections. The Mahāsāṃghika is the lineage of the great light protector of the Brahmin caste, from which five sections branched out: the Eastern Mountain section, the Western Mountain section, the Snow Mountain section, the Provisional Name section, and the World-Transcending section. The Sthavira is the lineage of Kātyāyana, the reed craftsman, from which three sections branched out: the section residing in the Victorious Grove, the section residing on the Fearless Mountain, and the section residing in the Monastery. The Mahāpūjaka is the lineage of the butcher's caste, Near Round, from which three sections branched out: the Mīmāṃsaka section, the Good Protector section, and the Son-Dwelling section, which are generally summarized as eighteen Śrāvakayāna sections. The distinctions of these sections are also scattered in the Vinaya Pitaka, and are clearly explained in "Light Manifestation," "Recitation Wheel," and "Sectional Differentiation Treatise." The Sarvāstivāda is the most prevalent in Tibet. Although these sections differ in form, they are all related to the practices of the five monastic communities, and it is impossible to go beyond the scope of what Śākyamuni Buddha established. Therefore, in order to conform to the omen of Kṛkī, all precepts must be mastered and strictly observed. If they are not observed, then like a root downfall, instruction should be given honestly, and although there can be remedies, the fundamental causes of failure cannot be completely eliminated until the state of Arhat is attained, so liberation will be long delayed. The Vinaya Pitaka says: One will not hear the Dharma, and what is heard will be quickly forgotten, and the stages of the path will not be realized or fully arise. Due to the fault of degeneration, like the leaves of the Ela tree, one will fall into the animal realm, and according to the severity of the offenses of Pārājika, Saṃghāvaśeṣa, Sthūlātyaya, Prāyaścittika, and Duṣkṛta, one will be born in order from the hot hells to the reviving hells, as is extensively taught in the Sutras. The benefits of keeping the precepts are: In general, taking precepts with the intention of being freed from disease, the king's punishment, and poverty in this life is the morality of protecting from fear; aiming only at obtaining the happiness and fruit of gods and humans in the future is the morality of wishing for good results. Although these two do not lead to liberation from saṃsāra, they can temporarily

Just by that, one is connected with the happiness and results of that. As Saga Lha said: The praised wealth is a tree of abundance, born in the sacred palace of the gods. So it is said. When the thought of renunciation arises in the mind, one becomes a fully qualified individual liberation, because this discipline is the very nature of liberation from samsara. As it is said in the Sutra of the Ten Wheels of Earth Essence: Do not look at all the ripening of existence, but protect it. So it is said. It is like this: the younger brother, Nanda, with the good wishes of the discipline, showed the suffering of hell by means of miracles, and thus remained in the state of possessing the characteristics of individual liberation and attained the Arhatship. Therefore, those who have the ability to think should not regard morality as merely ordinary, but should know that the nature of samsara, wherever it turns, is like a pit of fire and the depths of the ocean, and is the nature of suffering. Only with the thought of renunciation should one take the vows of individual liberation, which is the tenet of the Sravaka's own school. Otherwise, if it is taken with the Mahayana mind of enlightenment, then the eight kinds of individual liberation vows will also become the individual liberation vows of the Bodhisattva, which is what is desired. The Pandit of Bengal also said: The vows of individual liberation should also be enhanced by the mind of enlightenment. So it is said. The benefits are: In the Sutra of Great Love for Monks: Whatever morality is very good, the person who is disciplined has a beautiful form, dwells close to discipline, the training of morality is the most excellent for oneself. That person, even in one day, accumulates immeasurable merit and accomplishes the fruit of Buddhahood. So it is said. The scholar Hero said: The joy of divine objects, the enjoyment of human beings, the supreme bliss, the supreme taste, the perfection of the gods, what is so amazing that comes from morality? Look at all the Buddha's teachings that come from it. So it is. In particular, in the time when the teachings were flourishing, the benefits of guarding the complete training were greater than now, when the teachings are declining. Those who have entered the path of the teachings are mostly untamed and undisciplined, far from renunciation, close to householders, and happy to follow them. In this time, even the benefit of guarding one training for one day is immeasurable.
