The power of knowing afflictions and purification without confusion, and the past abodes of oneself and others, remembering and directly seeing without confusion, hence the power of knowing the remembrance of past abodes. Just as one sees past abodes, the death and rebirth of oneself and others, and all stages of taking birth, seeing without confusion, hence the power of knowing death and rebirth. The three types of abandonment of Hearers, Solitary Buddhas, and Unsurpassed Bodhi, and all stages of the exhaustion of outflows, seeing without confusion, hence the power of knowing the exhaustion of outflows, these are the ten types. The four fearlessnesses: Claiming oneself to be manifestly perfectly enlightened, vowing to know the nature of all dharmas without confusion, there is no opponent in accordance with the Dharma, hence fearlessness in the perfection of realization. All that is included in afflictions and cognitive obscurations, the dharmas to be abandoned that become obstacles to liberation and omniscience, not having abandoned this, there is no opponent in accordance with the Dharma, hence fearlessness in teaching the Dharma that cuts off obstacles. Base knowledge and path knowledge, etc., teaching as the path of definite arising of liberation and omniscience, teaching this path but not being able to definitely arise, there is no opponent in accordance with the Dharma, hence fearlessness in teaching the path of definite arising. Vowing that outflows have been completely exhausted, if one says that this outflow has not been exhausted, there is no opponent in accordance with the Dharma, hence fearlessness in the perfection of abandonment. The four analytical knowledges: Easily knowing the realms, names, and categories of all defiled and purified dharmas, hence analytical knowledge of dharmas. Their wisdom, unconfused and not ignorant of their own and common characteristics, acts without obstruction, hence analytical knowledge of meanings. All words that are in accordance with the objects to be tamed, hence analytical knowledge of words. Completely knowing the nature of oneself and the distinctions of classifications, wisdom acts without obstruction, hence analytical knowledge of eloquence. The eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha: Mipham Gonpo (མི་ཕམ་མགོན་པོ།, Vimalamitra) said: There is no confusion or clamor.
