Immediately after making a great offering, countless rays of light emanated from their pores, merging into the crown of that great Bodhisattva, thereby receiving the empowerment of the great light of all Buddhas. He attained countless samadhis, such as the vajra-like samadhi, which he had not attained before, and the wisdom like a mirror manifested. At the final stage of the ten bhumis, immediately after the transformation of the alaya-vijnana with various habitual tendencies, he obtained the power of the wisdom of the dharmadhatu, thereby attaining enlightenment. In terms of qualities, the contemplation of Buddhas, etc., equal to the number of dust particles in inexpressible and again inexpressible Buddha-fields, is accomplished in an instant on the twelve bhumis. Among them, on the first bhumi, by realizing that the essence of the luminosity of the nature of mind pervades all sentient beings, the Bodhicitta of self-other equality is realized. On the second bhumi, by realizing what has been realized in the most excellent way, one possesses diligence in purifying the defilements of the realm. On the third bhumi, by realizing that what is heard is of the same kind as the dharmadhatu, one transcends even the transformation of the three thousand great thousand worlds into a single sea of fire, and hears the Dharma. On the fourth bhumi, by realizing that there is no clinging to self and what belongs to self in it, one abandons attachment to the nature of the dharmadhatu. On the fifth bhumi, by realizing that the realm of those with lineage of oneself and others is non-dual, one realizes that all Buddhas are equal with ten pure intentions. The ten purities are: qualities, training, path, knowing what is not the path, the thirty-seven dharmas, and maturing sentient beings. Among them, qualities and training each have three aspects of body, speech, and mind, totaling ten pure intentions. On the sixth bhumi, by realizing that the realm is naturally pure, one abandons all clinging to acceptance and rejection of samsara and nirvana. On the seventh bhumi, by realizing that there is no difference in the realm, one abandons all clinging to characteristics. On the eighth bhumi, by realizing that the wisdom of seeing as it is has no increase or decrease, one obtains the supreme purity of the forbearance of the unarisen dharma. Its nature is stated in the Twenty Thousand Verses: "Subhuti, any dharma that has not even a particle of arising is unborn. What knows it is forbearance."

It is called "Forbearance," which means that with that wisdom, one obtains forbearance towards the dharma of non-arising. Thus it is said. On the ninth bhumi, due to realizing that the nature of the realm has four distinct kinds of wisdom as its inherent quality, one gains mastery over the wisdom of as many as there are natures of wisdom. On the tenth bhumi, due to realizing that that realm itself is the source of perfect activity, one obtains self-mastery over the four masteries. The four masteries are from the Ornament of the Sutras: Because of the mind and grasping and discrimination having changed, therefore non-discrimination, and from pure lands and wisdom, mastery has four aspects. That mastery on the three bhumis, such as the Immovable, has four aspects; one has two aspects, and the other masteries are considered to be each one. Thus, because the place of the afflicted mind has changed, one obtains mastery over non-discrimination, and because the place of the five sense consciousnesses of grasping has changed, one obtains mastery over the completely pure buddha-fields; these two are on the eighth bhumi, therefore one has two aspects. Because the place of the mind consciousness has changed, one gains dominion over the four kinds of perfect knowledge and obtains mastery over perfect activity; this is the ninth bhumi. On the tenth bhumi, the source of realization, that is, the blueprint of the mind consciousness, because the place of the alaya-consciousness, the basis of all, has changed, one obtains mastery over mirror-like wisdom; this is the meaning of the other individual masteries, which have already been explained in their respective stages. From the perspective of activity, because it makes one similar to the actions of the Buddha, therefore in the Uttaratantra it says: This conduct of a bodhisattva, in the subsequent attainment, is the same in the world as the Tathagatas and truly liberating beings. Thus it is said. Even so, from the perspective of meaning, there is a difference in greatness compared to the Buddha in both the manner of action and activity. Following the previous text, it says: Even so, like the dust of the earth and the water in the hoofprint of an ox in the ocean, the difference between a Buddha and a bodhisattva is just that. Thus it is said. Furthermore, in this path of meditation, depending on the difference in the antidotes that abandon the defilements of the ninth bhumi, there are four definite numbers: the path of joining, the path of no obstruction, the path of liberation, and the path of distinction. The first two are the antidotes to what is abandoned. The middle one is the antidote of the support. The last one is the antidote of lengthening the distance. The basis for the imputation of the path is also that very self-continuum prior to the bhumis. The obstacles to be abandoned by that bhumi
