Its basis is the men and women of the three realms, and it is mostly born among the gods of the desire and form realms. The Ornament of the Sutras says, "Taking rebirth according to thought." Therefore, it does not preclude the possibility of being born elsewhere. The basis of thought is the fourth dhyana. Its basis is the virtuous qualities that belong to the wheel of the nature of the ten bhumis, which are the eightfold noble path. The Letter to a Friend says, "Right view, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, right concentration, right speech, right action, and right thought are the eight limbs of the path." Among these, right view is wisdom without outflows. Right livelihood is abandoning flattery and wrong livelihood. Right effort is diligence, which is the four right abandonments. Right mindfulness is not forgetting the object. This also corresponds to the four mindfulnesses, because mindfulness itself is abiding in mindfulness, so it is mindfulness. And the ultimate characteristic of right mindfulness is wisdom itself. The commentary on the Letter to a Friend says, "Those who explain this as mindfulness, according to their treatises, mindfulness is wisdom." Right concentration is the fourth dhyana. Right speech is the four virtuous paths of action based on speech. Right action is the three natures of abandoning the paths of non-virtuous action of the body. Right thought is without harmful intent, renunciation, and various kinds of virtuous thoughts. Therefore, these eight limbs of the noble path are a place of peace, and because they are cultivated in order to attain nirvana, it is said, "This is for peace, therefore it should be diligently cultivated." etc. Furthermore, in relation to eliminating the ten unfavorable factors such as stinginess, it is determined as the ten bhumis. The Avatamsaka Sutra says, "O sons of the Buddhas, these ten bhumis are specially distinguished by the ten perfections in order to purify the ten unfavorable factors. On the first bhumi, the perfection of generosity is mainly practiced, but it is not that the others are not cultivated as much as possible." From the perfection of generosity to the perfection of wisdom, it is taught in this way. The ten things to be abandoned are: stinginess.

Manifestation, as well as immoral discipline, anger, laziness, distraction, immoral wisdom, unskillful means, obstacles to power, unfulfilled wishes, and obstacles to knowledge, these ten to be abandoned, one should understand their nature. If classified, according to the classification of the three paths of small, medium, and large, it is divided into nine types. Among them, the smallest of the small, the second ground, the Immaculate Ground, is the most supreme of the discipline paramita. As stated in the Ornament for Clear Realization: "Because it is free from the defilement of immoral conduct and effort, it is called the Immaculate Ground." And as stated in the Garland of Jewels: "When its maturation ripens, it becomes the most excellent of the discipline paramita, becoming the lord of the seven precious things, benefiting sentient beings as a wheel-turning king." Therefore, the immoral discipline and the defilement of diligence are completely purified, and one can instantly obtain the twelve thousand merits mentioned earlier, and can obtain the position of a wheel-turning king who rules the four continents. The middle of the small, the third ground, the Radiant Ground, is the patience paramita. As stated in the Ornament for Clear Realization: "Because it makes great light of Dharma, it is called Radiant." And as stated in the Garland of Jewels: "When its maturation ripens, one further practices patience and diligence, becoming the great powerful one of the gods, able to prevent the desire of the desire realm." Therefore, because the great light of Dharma or the light of peaceful wisdom arises, one can generate samadhi and clairvoyance, possessing twelve hundred thousand merits, and possessing the ability to obtain the position of the god Indra, the lord of the gods. The largest of the small, the fourth ground, the Blazing Ground, is the diligence paramita. As stated in the Ornament for Clear Realization: "Thus, the Dharma corresponding to the aspects of enlightenment, like a burning fire, because it corresponds to it, this ground burns the two and emits light." And as stated in the Garland of Jewels: "When its maturation ripens, cutting off the extremes, one becomes a god-king, able to generate the view of the perishable aggregate, skillfully destroying everything." Thus, the light of the wisdom of right view is as sharp as a burning fire, therefore it is called the Blazing Ground. One can obtain twelve hundred million merits like the previous ones, and obtain the position of the Yama king. The smallest of the medium, the fifth ground, the Difficult to Conquer Ground.
