Their birthplace is seen by the divine eye, causing astonishment and fainting. Friends and relatives call from afar, praying for rebirth as humans or gods, but they cannot approach those with omens of death. Therefore, even the bliss of the heavens will be exhausted, because the suffering is immeasurable, so suffering is greater than bliss, do not crave. In the "Letter to a Friend": Having thought thus, the virtuous do not crave for the sake of the heavens that will be exhausted. The color of the body becomes unsightly, dislike for the seat, withered flower garlands, clothes stained with dirt, and on the body, the appearance of unprecedented sweat, these five are the early signs of death and falling from the heavens. Again: Supporting the ground of the Yoke-Bearing Mountain, like an umbrella appearing, the great sun and moon. Afterwards, they will also be in the dark prison of darkness, and will obtain the state of being a great blind person. It means that, like an umbrella supporting the ground of the Yoke-Bearing Mountain, the great sun and moon, which are able to dispel the darkness of all the worlds of the four continents, when the light of their immeasurable palace, which they rely on, and the two sons of gods who rely on them are abandoned, they will be like prisoners bound in the dark prison between each world, unable to see even if they stretch out their arms, obtaining the state of being a great blind person. As it is said in the "Letter to a Friend": Having obtained the sun and moon themselves, illuminating all the worlds with their own light, afterwards they fall into the darkness, and even stretching out their arms they cannot see. Here, it is said "own body" because worldly people think that the dependent and the depended are one. Like this, all contaminated bliss, although its essence is only suffering, is still arrogant and self-righteous, and as a result, one can only enjoy the suffering of samsara. In the "Admonition to Study": In this world, frightened by the burning of the fire of suffering, those who think they are happy and arise with arrogance, that is opening the mouth of the Lord of Death, that is the seed of the tree of the future life. And, giving examples of considering suffering as happiness, such as the great copper pots in hell.

The boiling cauldron's heat is intense, and in the brief moment of raising one's head to breathe, countless iron hammers strike in furious blows, making one feel that being struck is actually more comfortable. Just like that, the suffering of being cooked in the great copper cauldron of hell is so extreme that in the moment of raising one's head to breathe, one thinks that dying would be better than being struck, and one contemplates being struck as comfortable. Similarly, connecting this suffering with the desire for liberation, until Nirvana is attained, one is tormented only by suffering. Occasionally, being born as gods and humans, relying on accumulated merit, for a moment escaping the cycle of birth and death in the lower realms, while dwelling in the higher realms, the suffering of the lower realms, like unbearable flames, is pacified. It is like craving the few pleasures of gods and humans, which is a continuation of the previous text. Similarly, unbearable suffering helplessly and constantly torments, and for a brief moment, escaping the cycle of birth and death, in an instant, the unbearable suffering is extinguished like flames, and all in the world crave even a little happiness. Thus. Regarding the causes and effects of the realms of the gods, excerpted from the Mindfulness Sutra: Those who do not desire selflessness, and do not delight in being possessed, are the best of foods, and will be reborn as the Four Great Kings. Those who respect parents and family elders, praise and endure, and delight in fighting, will be reborn as the Thirty-three Gods. Those who do not delight in quarreling and fighting, and are single-mindedly devoted to virtue, will go to the No-Strife Heaven. Those who are learned, uphold the Dharma, possess wisdom and desire liberation, and delight in merit will go to the Tushita Heaven. Those who enter into taming themselves and are happy to keep the precepts will go to the Nirmāṇarati Heaven, not to be eaten by demons. Any sentient being who does not regard medicine as supreme, but gives, tames, and takes correct vows, possessing excellent qualities, will surely be able to freely control the Paranirmita-vasavartin Heaven. Through discipline, one obtains the heavenly realms; through meditation, one obtains distinction; and through truly knowing everything as it is, one will ultimately have no more rebirth. Here, some words have been slightly shortened. The following describes the suffering of the Asuras: Hating the glory of the gods.
