The fierce and rough red wind turns into a pleasant, swirling desolate land. Thus, the water treasure, that is, the great ocean's waves rise high, and all the foam on the crests sways brightly like garlands of bubbles, but for the pretas, it appears as a desolate plain fiercely swirling with sandstorms stirred up by the red wind. The inverted appearance of rain clouds is: although one might wish for rain clouds to rise there, from the clouds falls a rain of iron arrows, accompanied by billowing smoke and sparks, like the sparks that fly from a blacksmith's hammer, like the diamond-like flashing yellow light, the red and yellow currents flowing like rain falling on the body. Thus, for all farmers, the new joyful sight is the blue rain clouds swaying like the leaves of a banyan tree, but for the pretas, it is as if a hail of angry clouds is breaking, from which falls a rain of iron arrows, billowing smoke and sparks, like the hot sparks of molten iron flying from between a blacksmith's hammers, flashing like diamond boulders, and the garlands of lightning, beautiful like bracelets on a young woman's arm, fall as weapons, appearing to harm the body. The inverted appearance of hot and cold is: in hot weather, even blizzards become cool, and in cold weather, for the miserable, even fire becomes cold. Because of the complete ripening of unbearable karma, they are completely deluded, and for them, all these various things appear inverted. Thus, when tormented by heat, the blizzard with its cold touch becomes their friend, and when afflicted by cold, even fire becomes a cold touch without warmth. The suffering of obscured food and drink is: tormented by unbearable thirst, they see a pure river from afar, and wanting to drink, they go there, but that very river turns into water filled with hair, fish scales, pus and gore, mixed with mud, blood, and excrement. Thus, driven solely by thirst, they see a river in the distance, and approach it, but upon arriving there, it turns into a mirage, or hair, or fish scales, or putrid pus, or mud, or blood, or water mixed with impurities. The inner obscuration is: a mouth the size of a needle's eye, but a stomach that is frighteningly large, many yojanas in size, the miserable preta, even if he drinks the water of the great

If it cannot become wide, the breath from the mouth can also dry up the water droplets. This means that its mouth is only as big as a needle's eye, and to measure the size of its stomach, even many krosas (Sanskrit transliteration of a unit of length) would be afraid. Why? Because in the Sutra of the Essence of the Sun, it is said that the body of a large preta is a thousand krosas, and the smallest is one span high. Because it is exhausted from hunger and thirst, even if it drinks the water of the great ocean, before the water reaches the throat, which is as thin as a horse's tail, the heat from the mouth can immediately dry up the water droplets, and there is no opportunity to enter the body. This shows this point. This teacher, whose words are so pure, is praised even by the ornament of Jambudvipa, the teacher Dharmakirti, so the meanings that are not explained in detail in the two commentaries of India and Tibet are clearly explained in the word-by-word explanation. Furthermore, the pretas wandering in the sky include: corpse ghosts, zombies, mad ghosts, forgetful ghosts, yakshas, flesh-eating ghosts, nightmare ghosts, emaciated ghosts, gandharvas, haunting ghosts, rakshasas, tsen, kings, and all kinds of spirits. In the Minor Mindfulness Sutra, it says: Those who harm children, entice them with desire, and eat their excrement will be reborn as corpse ghosts. Those who destroy and give villages, give and harm, will be reborn as ugly urn-shaped pretas, worthy of offerings. Those who always like incense and garlands, give alms and have little anger, will be reborn as the cause of the gods' delight, kinnaras. Those who like to gossip, are angry, and give alms for their needs will be reborn as fierce flesh-eating ghosts with ugly faces. Those who are always cautious and always like to give alms will be reborn as spirits after death. Those who are fierce, angry, and give alms, and like delicious wine, will be reborn as fierce yakshas after death, reborn as those ghosts who like wine. Those who, according to the wishes of their parents and teachers, ride the vehicles they like, will be reborn as yakshas living in immeasurable palaces, possessing happiness. Due to the faults of desire and stinginess, they will be reborn as pretas after death. It is said like this. However,
