Non-rationality, harm, shamelessness, lack of conscience, anger, resentment, concealment, annoyance. Regret, sleep, thought, observation, these four are other transformations. Apart from these, the eighty-four thousand kinds of conceptualizations are not fully comprehensible. Although these conceptualizations, each as a classification of karma and karmic results, are not widely known, they are summarized into the three aspects of body, speech, and mind, and shown as ten types, as stated in the *Abhidharmakosha*: "Therefore, briefly summarized, good and non-good, etc., the paths of karma are said to be ten." Generally, the collection of various different conceptualizations forms the karma of the world. As stated in the *Hundred Karmas Sutra*: "Emaho! The various worlds are born from karma, happiness and suffering are drawn by karma. When conditions gather, karma arises, karma produces happiness and suffering." Therefore, on top of the unspecified ground of all, the cause and effect of samsara, non-virtue and inferior virtuous merit, the favorable conditions for liberation from suffering, and all the manifestations of pure karmic paths, depend on this. That is, although originally non-existent, the various things that arise suddenly become the basis for accumulation. Therefore, in order to generate suffering and bad rebirths, there are ten non-virtues from the perspective of what should be abandoned, and in order to accumulate happiness and good rebirths, they transform into ten virtues from the perspective of what should be adopted. Now, we will begin to explain the first aspect of the ten paths of karma that are favorable conditions for merit. The three of the body are killing, stealing, and sexual misconduct. First, killing is: not mistaken in cognition, intentionally killing other beings. Related actions include beating and other harmful actions. Stealing is knowingly stealing the property of others. Related actions include obtaining through deception and other means. Sexual misconduct is providing sexual acts for wages, rewards, etc. Related actions include engaging in sexual acts that should not be performed. Therefore, killing, stealing, and engaging in sexual misconduct with desire, these three karmas of the body, are explained in a direct manner, and each of their related actions are explained in two ways. First, the directly indicated transgression of killing is completed by five branches: the basis is a sentient being, there is cognition of it, there is the thought of killing, the action is performed,

Death at the very moment of performing the act, or at another time, these are the five branches. A similar case is when death occurs due to causes such as beating, even though there was no manifest intention to kill. Second, taking what is not given is completed by four branches: the object to be taken is owned by another, one knows this to be the case, one intends to steal knowing this, and then one moves the object and takes possession of it. Similar cases include obtaining commissions through means, trade, and unjust punishments. Deceptive taking is like using inaccurate measures and scales. Engaging in sexual misconduct out of desire has seven aspects: arising from oneself, arising from one's own wife, arising from taking an unsuitable woman as a wife, arising from a male, arising from an animal, and arising from a boy and a girl. Among these, arising from oneself refers to ejaculating oneself by recalling objects such as women. Arising from one's own wife refers to engaging in sexual activity at an inappropriate time, such as during the day, during fasting, when sick, when pregnant, when afflicted by sorrow, during menstruation, and when the body is unwell. Inappropriate places refer to places such as parents, teachers, the Three Jewels, and stupas. Inappropriate limbs refer to the mouth, excretory passage, navel, etc., in short, all places other than the female genitalia. These three also apply to others. Arising from taking an unsuitable woman as a wife refers to causing a laywoman practicing celibacy, a bhikshuni (which does not exist in Tibet, so there is no reason), a novice nun, or a woman observing vows, whether she is willing or unwilling, to abandon her vows. Arising from a non-wife refers to a woman possessed by another household, a close relative within seven generations, one who possesses the banner of Dharma, one who holds vows, parents, brothers, sisters, clan members, and a husband (because the husband is mentioned, she is protected), parents-in-law, brothers-in-law (because the husband's side is mentioned, she is protected), and a woman protected by unequal caste and qualities, even a prostitute, if another man has already paid the price, she is protected, and others.
