It is the place of all! It is the basis of all suffering! It is the source of all suffering! Thus it is said. Therefore, having become disgusted with the nature of cyclic existence, which is the truth of the suffering of arising from the characteristics of the five aggregates of appropriation, the truth of the origin also arises in existence and craves. Accompanied by desire that is happy and joyful with it. Focusing on existence and manifestly rejoicing, one must abandon as many non-virtuous collections as arise from karma and afflictions. Having abandoned it in this way, the path of the middling person. Riding on the chariot of the four truths. The state of nirvana, the realization of cessation. One goes to the state of supreme liberation. Having said that, whatever is the cessation of the origin is liberation, and liberation must depend on the truth of the path. As it says in the Letter to a Friend: This birth is called suffering and craving, This is its great origin, This cessation is liberation, The noble path that obtains it has eight branches. Thus, right view is wisdom without outflows, right livelihood is abandoning deception and wrong livelihood, right effort is diligence, which is also the four right abandonments. Right mindfulness is not forgetting the object, which is also the four close placements of mindfulness by focusing on body, feeling, mind, and dharma. Right concentration is the four meditations. Right speech is the four virtuous paths of action. Right action's limit is the nature of abandoning the three non-virtuous paths of action of the body. Right thought is, without harmful intent and many virtuous thoughts. Thus, seeing these four noble truths, connecting with obtaining nirvana is not necessarily on the basis of a householder. As it was said before: Therefore, in order to attain the four noble truths, one should always strive. Even householders who dwell in wealth in their arms can cross the river of afflictions with knowledge. Thus, householders who dwell in kingship, such as Holding the Essence, also cross the river of afflictions by knowing the four noble truths. Therefore, the noble path is accomplished by the effort of a person. It is not that wisdom is completely accomplished from the beginning.

It is not as if it fell from the sky, nor did it emerge from the earth like crops. Therefore, even ordinary individuals should rely on virtuous friends and strive to cross the river of afflictions without fear. This is what the noble Nāgārjuna taught. As it is said: Those who have mastered the Dharma, it is not as if they fell from the sky, nor like crops, did they emerge from the earth. Before, they were ordinary individuals afflicted by disturbing emotions. It is said. However, those who do not maintain mindfulness hold suffering as happiness, impermanence as permanence, selflessness as self, and impurity as purity, thus cultivating the causes for bad migrations and samsara by viewing the four inverted perceptions. As stated previously: Those who do not maintain mindfulness are ruined by viewing the four inverted perceptions. It is said. If there is no self that observes in this way, then who experiences the results of virtuous and non-virtuous actions? What is to be refuted is that its nature is the self, the essence of form, and so on. As it is said in the Letter to a Friend: Form is not the self, the self is not associated with form, the self does not reside in form, and form does not reside in the self. Similarly, realize the remaining four aggregates as empty. Therefore, the self is not the essence of form, and so on, because like form and so on, it only becomes impermanent. If it is said that the self is different from form and so on, then there are three ways to examine this: Is it like a herdsman who possesses buffalo, possessing form and so on? Is it like a herdsman sitting on grass, abiding on top of form and so on? Or is it like vines relying on trees, with form and so on relying on it? Let us reason about this: What dominion does the self have over form and so on? Just as a herdsman has dominion over herding and milking the herd of buffalo, it cannot abandon or take up form and so on at will. Even unwillingly, one sees the decay of form and so on, therefore the self does not possess form. The meaning of the second perspective: How can it be said that this self abides on form and so on?
