This shows that there is no place to enter inside, as they are dried up themselves. This very pure teacher who speaks like this, even the beautiful ornament of Jambudvipa, the teacher Dharmakīrti, praises him, therefore, the word-by-word commentary clearly states the meaning that the Indian and Tibetan commentaries only hint at. Furthermore, the pretas who roam in the sky include: zombies, reanimated corpses, madmen, forgetful ones, yakshas, rakshasas, flesh-eaters, shadow oppressors, emaciated ones, nightmares, evil spirits, ogres, tsen, kings, and all kinds of spirits. From the Minor Mindfulness Sutra: Whoever harms children, seduces them with desire, and eats the dirt on their bodies, will be reborn as a zombie. Whoever destroys and gives villages, gives and harms, will be reborn as an ugly pot-shaped ghost, worthy of offerings. Always liking incense and garlands, giving and being small in anger, becoming the cause of joy for the gods, will be reborn as a gandharva. Some people like to gossip, are angry and give for need, that person is a cruel flesh-eater, will be reborn with an ugly face. Always very afraid, cautious, always liking to give, after death will be reborn as a spirit. Cruel, angry, and giving people, people who like delicious alcohol, after death will be reborn as cruel yakshas, reborn as those who like alcohol. Those who lift their parents and teachers onto mounts as they like, those people will be reborn as yakshas who roam in immeasurable palaces, possessing happiness. Due to the fault of greed and stinginess, after death they will be reborn as pretas. Thus it is said. However, pot-shaped ghosts and gandharvas are branches of the first two desire realm gods, but it is reasonable to classify them here as a category of demons. These possess the magical power of karma, and some possess enjoyment due to small good deeds in the past, but they are unstable, the timing is wrong, the place is not to their liking, causing harm, fear, hunger, and thirst, striving to seize life and glory, only creating harm for others, therefore they will bring future suffering, and magical power

Although it seems like guarding a narrow path even when going like a snake; wherever one goes with affection, the feeling of imparting the key to one's own impending death is transferred, thus being harmed by mantras and curses, and oneself is constantly tormented by the painful feeling of imparting the key to death, thus having the evil intention of transferring it to other patients; it is like one's own body's doorways, like gravel, like a burning piece of wood, similar to temporary suffering, or like various kinds of suffering such as dogs and birds, and the happiness and enjoyment of others appear as suffering to him, and the four inverted perceptions mentioned earlier also appear in common, therefore it is called suffering after going to the world of Yama. Now, to show the suffering of animals, it is said in the 'Letter to a Friend': 'Even in the birth place of animals, there are various sufferings such as killing, binding, and beating. For those who have abandoned the virtues of peace, one eats the other, which is extremely unbearable.' Here, it is divided into general presentation and specific suffering. The first is, although it is divided into thirty-four in the 'Satipatthana Sutta', if we consider it from the perspective of what is done by humans and non-humans, and summarize it into scattered and whole, then even if there is only killing in general, the magnitude of suffering in the way of killing is unimaginable, such as hunters driving prey to the end, savage tribes skinning people alive, burning them with fire, or cooking them in iron pots and other containers for the sake of mercury and other substances and research, for oneself, even being pricked by a thorn is unbearable, but due to the influence of anger, attachment, and ignorance, even the living body is regarded as an inanimate object, tormenting and using it like hell beings; binding with ropes and other things and imprisoning them in cages; beating them like punishment with whips and sticks; similarly, there are unbearable sufferings such as piercing nostrils, cutting birds, carrying loads, using them for riding, using them for plowing, drawing live blood, shearing wool, and protecting desires. If we consider it from the perspective of suffering arising from one's own kind, in the 'Karma Shataka', there is the body of a crocodile of two thousand seven hundred yojanas.
