It can endure for two hundred billion years. (From the verses of "Mindfulness of the True Dharma Sutra"): Whoever kills another person, or raises them and then kills them, those people will surely go to the Reviving Hell. Because even after hundreds of millions of years, they will be cut and cut there, and then revive. Therefore, it is called the Reviving Hell. The Black Rope Hell is a place tormented by cutting instruments. The jailers there put the sinners in between mountains of various shapes, draw lines on their bodies, and chop and dig them like wood. They are split open and then glued back together. The lifespan is one trillion two hundred billion ninety thousand six thousand and twelve years. As the previous sutra says: "Those who are disobedient to their parents, friends, relatives, and spiritual friends, and those who lie and slander, will go to the Black Rope Hell. Because there, like wood, black lines are drawn and they are chopped with saws and burning tools. Therefore, it is called the Black Rope Hell." The Crushing Hell is a place with grinding instruments. Sinners are squeezed between rocky mountains and various animal heads, or squeezed by huge iron grinding instruments. The weight of a huge stone from above presses their bodies to the ground, causing blood and water to flow like rivers. The lifespan is three hundred billion sixty thousand eight thousand and one years. As the previous sutra says: "If someone raises sheep, goats, foxes, pigs, rabbits, mice, deer, and pigs, and then slaughters them, those beings will go to the Crushing Hell. Because there, they are gathered and discarded, and then completely killed. Therefore, it is called the Crushing Hell. The name is consistent with its meaning." The Howling Hell is a place where molten iron boils and is full of terrible screams. Those who seek shelter there are thrown into iron houses, and after entering, they suffer the pain of fierce flames. The lifespan is twenty billion ninety-four thousand one thousand and seven years. As the previous sutra says: "Here, any sentient beings who create afflictions with body, speech, and mind, or mix deception and mislead others, those people will go to the Howling Hell. There, fierce flames..."

Therefore, because it is burned incessantly, and because it emits a loud sound, they cry out. Thus it is said. The Great Crying Hell is: being burned and scorched by fire in a burning iron house. The lifespan is three million trillion years, and also five hundred and fifty-five thousand two hundred and sixty-six trillion years. As previously stated: Whoever robs the wealth of gods and Brahmins, and lamas, causing suffering; whoever robs what is sealed, those will go to the Great Crying Hell. Being burned by fire is because of its intensity, and crying is also because of its greatness, and because of its heaviness and greatness, therefore that is the Great Crying Hell. Thus it is said. The Hot Hell is: piercing the body with a burning iron tree, causing the brain marrow to flow out, and fire arising from all the sense doors and pores. Also, being burned in an extremely burning cauldron, and lying supine on a completely burning iron ground, and being struck with a burning iron hammer. The lifespan is eight million trillion years, and also between four hundred thousand and six thousand five hundred and thirty trillion years. The Extremely Hot Hell is: being stabbed from behind with a three-pronged spear, causing the central tip to pierce the brain marrow, and the remaining two tips to emerge from the two armpits, and also wrapping the entire body with a burning iron plate, and also completely burning iron and copper, immersing the head downwards in a pot of boiling hot water, causing the skin, flesh, and blood to scatter, leaving only white bones or a skeleton, suffering greatly on the support of the body. The lifespan is half a middle kalpa. Thus, these two are the wheel of illusion of anger, and Candragomin perfectly expresses other differences of suffering: Some fall into a large copper pot of boiling butter, others fall onto the ground where sparks of burning sand are scattered, unable to find a place to put their feet. And the difference of the Extremely Hot Hell: The thick smoke of hellfire permeates, the smell is unpleasant, obscuring the sky, the many arms of the flames spread everywhere, covering all directions. Adorned with ornaments of white bone fragments, causing goosebumps, like an elephant wearing clothes, uttering sinful wails. Thus, the types of hell are also shown in a natural way, but there is no clear definition of names.
