Even if relying on experiencing on the ground, the situation of the lower realms is extremely close to being licked by the tongue of a fierce Makara (water monster), and since one has not obtained a situation as flawless as reaching the dry land of liberation and the state of omniscience, one should rely solely on the guide of the Four Noble Truths. This is adorned with tangible ornamentation. Regarding this, our teacher, in Varanasi, said to the five excellent monks and others: 'Monks, this is suffering. This is the origin. This is cessation. This is the path. Monks, suffering should be known. The origin should be abandoned. Cessation should be realized. The path should be relied upon. Monks, suffering should be known, knowing the unborn that cannot be known; the origin should be abandoned, knowing the unborn that cannot be abandoned; cessation should be realized, knowing the unborn that cannot be realized; the path should be relied upon, knowing the unborn that cannot be relied upon.' Thus, the Four Truths were repeated three times. Among them, knowing suffering is: Whether the situation of the six types of beings is low or high, suffering, change, and pervasive conditioning, if not placed upon a vow, samsara will not exist. Like this, the fundamental great suffering is of three types: the suffering of suffering, the suffering of change, and the suffering of pervasive conditioning. The first is when one suffering has not subsided, another suffering is piled on top, like being struck with a stick on top of leprosy. The second is when one is currently in a state of ease and suddenly encounters the causes of suffering, for example, being bitten by a poisonous snake while going to relax in the forest, or having worms grow in the stomach after eating delicious food. The third is like when a slow poison is ingested, it later causes illness; or when one offends a powerful king or great demon, one later receives retribution. In any case, when a mind contaminated by afflictions secretly commits sinful deeds, and later the nature of suffering manifests, this is the suffering of pervasive conditioning, the distinction of being less obvious. Like this, all three types of suffering, or what

Since there is no possibility of samsara not being bound by the reins of reason, the nature of samsara is only suffering. The Karma Vibhaga says: "The suffering of existence is like a pit of fire without coolness. Frightening and disheartening, like an angry beast. Like living in the wilderness. Separated from the opportunity for liberation, like a dark throne of a king. Occurring again and again, like ocean waves. Destroying the life of happy migrations, like the poison halahala." That is how desire and the object are related like a support and a supported, deceiving each other. The demon of fierce desire and the poison of the object, which raise their heads by destroying the aggregates, increase the misery of the helpless, without the opportunity for liberation, from the prison of fighting and colliding with each other. Thus, desire is the root of all destruction, like a venomous snake raising its head because it is harmful to oneself and others. Because it makes virtuous deeds go to waste, it is of the nature of killing like poison. Because it leads to evil destinies, it is the cause of suffering like a weapon. Because it keeps away from the perfection of gods and humans, it is like an enemy. Because it creates deception and regret in the future, it is like fire. Therefore, just as one protects oneself in the world with great things like hearing, one should turn away from it and generate renunciation. The Suhrllekha says: "The wavering mind should be protected like a son who has heard, like a treasure, like life. Like poison, weapons, enemies, and fire, turn away from the pleasure of desire." Thus, the first obstacle to the practice of renunciation, which increases the craving of all beings in the desire realm, is to show the door of condemning the pleasure of touch, which is a strong shackle binding them in the prison of the household, as an antidote to it. "The body of a young woman, on the other hand, is foul-smelling and has nine openings, is a vessel of impurity, difficult to fill beings, and is covered with skin, and even the ornaments are seen on the other hand." Thus, the body is foul-smelling, its shape, is a basis of impurity, cannot be satisfied, and all its insides have become vessels of worms and entrails, thereby refuting its non-goodness, both its body and ornaments.
