Developing the mind of enlightenment in the Great Vehicle and practicing the path is the act of a great person. Here, in the context of the auspicious concordant part, from the verses of mindfulness, it says: Whoever has no other agent, the actions of body, speech, and mind, whatever good or bad is done by oneself, the fruits of this are enjoyed in the world. Thus, the ten virtues that turn away from the non-virtuous aspects of the three doors, if not associated with the meditation on the formless absorptions, the ripening result is that one obtains the bodies of humans in the four continents and sub-continents, and the six desire gods. Ripening in the place, adorned with crops and fruits as the fruit of the owner, without harm, and easy to travel, etc. The cause in accordance is the two, delighting in doing the ten virtues of the cause in accordance. Experiencing the cause in accordance, one has longevity, is without illness, has great enjoyment, and so on. In particular, if the ten virtues and the four meditations are combined and mastered, one is born in the form realm. If the ten virtues and the four formless absorptions are connected and perfected, one obtains the four formless realms. Among these, the actions of projecting and completing the bliss are done by the ten virtues, and the coarse mind of the formless absorption that is accomplished by meditating on the formless absorption is done by that. Therefore, those who practice the ten virtues, whether or not they are associated with the meditation on the two formless absorptions, conquer the battlefield of the lower realms and enjoy the happiness of the higher realms. However, those who break their vows, that is, those who practice the ten non-virtues that are contrary to them, go to the state of only the lower realms. Thus it is taught. Among these, some who are arrogant act on the battlefield, and some abandon their training in order to stay at home, like the royal lineage Rinchen Drak (Ratnakirti). Similarly, abandoning life for the sake of hatred, like the wanderer Samga Acharya; practicing asceticism for the sake of jealousy, like the monk Devadatta; abandoning the Dharma for the sake of ignorance, like the limbless king; abandoning shame for the sake of desire, like the merchant's daughter; abandoning embarrassment for the sake of desire, like the son of King Despacho, and so on. In short, in the world, people are willing to give up their bodies and lives for the sake of sin, but they are not willing to give up even land and water for the sake of virtue.

In terms of completed causes, the lower realms are like the dust of the great earth, and the higher realms are like the dust on a fingernail. This is a very depressing place in every way! In this way, even if non-virtuous actions are done for the sake of others, it is shown that their results cannot be shared. Because, for the sake of offering places, relatives, retinues, and protecting the country, even if one indulges in great sins like drinking poison to quench thirst, the results cannot be shared. The characteristic of sin is that its result is naturally huge, so it is likened to the image of an elephant. To bind it with the rope of renunciation and then let it go is the meaning of unrestrained indulgence. What need is there to say if it is indulged in for one's own sake? Even if it is indulged in for the sake of others, they will not share the suffering when the results are experienced. In particular, the noble Three Jewels, as the object of offering, cherish sentient beings like an only child, so they are never pleased with the offerings and services that come from torturing and killing them, and plundering their lands and wealth. Because, to claim that harming is Dharma is the doctrine of the heretics. Similarly, even if evil deeds are done for the sake of relatives, like Maudgalyayana's mother, who committed many sins such as stinginess for the sake of her family and son, the karma matures on the doer, so she herself fell into the lower realms, but her son attained the fruit of an Arhat, and her husband was reborn in the Brahma realm. Furthermore, to engage in powerful activities such as warfare for the sake of retinues and protecting the country, because the protectors are entirely Bodhisattvas who possess skillful means, it is not universal. If one carefully observes the conceptual thoughts and motivations of ordinary beings, it is not for the sake of protecting others, but only for the sake of protecting oneself. Such sin is extremely difficult to endure. As the teacher Aryadeva said: You should not commit sins for the sake of Brahmins, monks, gods, guests, parents, wives, and retinues, because there is no share to be had in the results of hell. It is said like that. There is one place to dispel doubts about this. If the sins committed for the sake of Brahmins, etc., mature
