If you want to know the details, please refer to the "Garland of Tenets." Here, omitting those details, from the perspective of the arising of wisdom as the fruit, let's slightly define the meaning of the first ground. As stated in the Ornament for Clear Realization: "Being close to enlightenment, and seeing the accomplishment of beings, great joy arises, therefore it is called the Extremely Joyful." Just like this, when one initially obtains transcendent wisdom, the seeds of what is to be abandoned are simultaneously extinguished. With discriminating wisdom, one directly realizes the two selflessnesses. The Dharmadhatu pervades all beings, self and other, and through special realization, one realizes the Bodhicitta of equality between self and other. Because one obtains unprecedented great joy, the first ground is called the Extremely Joyful Ground. In a single moment, one can see the faces of a hundred Buddhas, know that a hundred Buddhas bless oneself, emanate a hundred emanations, demonstrate a hundred eons of time, with wisdom see a hundred places in the past and future, enter and arise from a hundred samadhis, ripen a hundred beings, shake a hundred pure lands, illuminate a hundred pure lands with light, open a hundred Dharma doors, manifest a hundred bodies, each body manifesting a hundred perfect retinues surrounding it, and be able to obtain a birth that has dominion over Jambudvipa. Fourth is: Like this, having seen the nature of wisdom, one must cultivate it, therefore it is the path of cultivation. Its definition is: it arises after the completion of the Mahayana path of seeing, and is encompassed by Mahayana virtuous qualities, which can become the cause for the first moment of the Mahayana path of no more learning to arise in the mindstream. The physical basis is mostly the men and women of the three continents, and the gods of the desire and form realms. As stated in the Ornament for Clear Realization: "Because one takes birth according to desire." Therefore, it does not preclude the possibility of being born in other places. The mental basis is the fourth dhyana. Its essence is the virtuous qualities belonging to the wheel of the nature of the ten grounds, which are the eightfold noble path. As stated in the Letter to a Friend: "Right view and right livelihood, right effort and right mindfulness, right concentration, speech, and action,"

Furthermore, right thought itself is the eight branches of the path. Among them, right view is the wisdom without outflows. Right livelihood is abandoning flattery and wrong livelihood. Right effort is diligence, which is the four right abandonments. Right mindfulness is not forgetting the object of focus. This also corresponds to the four mindfulnesses, because mindfulness itself is abiding in mindfulness, therefore it is mindfulness. And the ultimate characteristic of right mindfulness is wisdom itself. As it is said in the commentary on the "Letter to a Friend": Those who explain abiding in mindfulness in this way, according to their tenets, mindfulness is wisdom. Thus it is said. Right concentration is the four dhyanas. Right speech is the four virtuous paths of action based on speech. Right action boundary is the three natures of abandoning the paths of non-virtuous actions of the body. Right thought is the absence of harmful intent, the determination to renounce, and various kinds of virtuous thoughts. Thus, these eight branches of the noble path are places of peace. Because they are cultivated in order to attain Nirvana, therefore, cultivate for the sake of peace. Thus and so on, it is taught. Moreover, depending on eliminating the ten opposing factors such as stinginess, it is determined as the ten bhumis. As it is said in the Avatamsaka Sutra: O sons of the Victorious Ones, in order to purify the ten opposing factors in these ten bhumis, they are specially distinguished by the ten perfections. The first bhumi mainly practices the perfection of generosity, but it is not that the others are not cultivated as much as possible. From there up to the perfection of wisdom, it is explained in this way. The ten to be abandoned among them are: stinginess, immoral discipline, anger, laziness, distraction, flawed wisdom, unskillful means, obstacles to power, failure to accomplish the meaning of aspirations, and the obscuration of knowledge. It should be understood that whatever abandons these ten to be abandoned is its very nature. If classified, the path of cultivation has three types: small, medium, and large, and divided into three categories, there are nine types. Among them, the smallest of the small is the second bhumi, the stainless bhumi, which is the supreme perfection of discipline.
