There is no other interruption. Among them, the heat stage and the peak stage are called small, which are the preparatory paths where the time of arising of the seeing path is uncertain. The forbearance stage is medium, which is the preparatory path where the seeing path will definitely arise in the next life. The supreme dharma stage is great, which is the preparatory path where the seeing path arises in this life. This path has five superior qualities that surpass the lower paths: Among the differences in antidotes, there are the antidote of refutation, the antidote of abandonment, the antidote of support, and the antidote of prolongation. Here, the antidote of abandonment is the main one. The difference in abandonment is that it is free from the seeds of defilements, the decline of manifestation, and the poverty and decay of the ordinary being's state. The difference in realization is the realization of the two selflessnesses of the wisdom arising from meditation. The difference in qualities is that it possesses many qualities such as samadhi, eyes, supernormal powers, and magical powers. The difference that surpasses the accumulation path is: Although it is similar to the great accumulation path in terms of arising from meditation, there are differences in the proximity of the seeing path and the stability of the warmth of wisdom. The "Great Commentary on the Eight Thousand Verses" says, "If there is no obstacle, the seeing path will arise very close." This should be understood as the difference here that corresponds to the part of liberation. Third, because the nature of reality is directly seen, it is called the seeing path. Its definition is "The eye of dharma is without dust and free from defilement, completely pure," as stated in the "Sutra Requested by Sagacious Intelligence," it is the seeing path. The so-called "extremely pure" is the wisdom of the eighth bhumi. The support of the body is any of the five realms of existence, and the support of the mind is the four dhyanas. Among them, the dharma that, when manifested, can attain nirvana is the support of the seeing path, which is the seven branches of enlightenment, as stated in the "Letter to a Friend": "Mindfulness, discrimination of dharma, diligence, joy, tranquility, samadhi, and equanimity, these seven are the branches of enlightenment, the accumulation of merit that brings about the attainment of nirvana." Among them, mindfulness is not forgetting the object of focus. Discrimination of dharma is the wisdom that distinguishes the characteristics of the Dharma-patience, Dharma-knowledge, Subsequent-patience, and Subsequent-knowledge of the Great Vehicle, along with their retinue. Diligence is the manifestation of joy in its own nature. Joy

Is the joy that arises in that object of focus. Extreme pliancy is the capability of body and mind. Samadhi is the mind not straying from one point. Equanimity is the mind and mental factors being tranquil and spontaneously accomplished. These seven dharmas are the limbs of the path of seeing, the unpolluted limbs of enlightenment, hence they are taught as the retinue of the limbs of enlightenment. The nature is the liberation from the two parts of the afflictive obscurations and the cognitive obscurations that are abandoned by seeing, according to one's own share. The Madhyāntavibhāga states: "Afflictive obscurations and cognitive obscurations, have been shown as two types, all of those obscurations having been exhausted, it is said to be liberated from that." Furthermore, the difference between the two obscurations of afflictions and knowledge is that the Uttaratantra states: "Whatever discriminations such as miserliness, are considered to be afflictive obscurations, whatever discriminations arise in the three spheres, that is considered to be cognitive obscurations." Therefore, whatever non-virtuous or unspecified obscurations, such as miserliness, that cause the mind to be extremely unpacified are afflictive obscurations. Virtuous actions with outflows that are accompanied by true clinging to the three spheres, or the grasping and apprehending discriminations that are unspecified and unobscured, that is, the connection between object and subject, are cognitive obscurations. Among these, the conceptually imputed afflictive obscurations are abandoned by seeing, and the innate ones are abandoned by meditation. Similarly, the coarse grasping and apprehending discriminations of the cognitive obscurations are abandoned by seeing, and the subtle ones are abandoned by meditation. Classification: Whatever conceptually imputed is an obstacle to the path of seeing is the characteristic of what is abandoned by seeing. Classification: From the perspective of nature, there are desire, anger, pride, ignorance, and doubt. From the perspective of the way of engaging in wrong conduct, there are the five views of the view of the aggregates, the view of holding to extremes, the wrong view, the view of holding views as supreme, and the view of holding moral discipline and asceticism as supreme, and the five non-views of desire, anger, pride, ignorance, and doubt, for a total of ten. Furthermore, from the perspective of the object of focus, the realm, and the way of engaging in wrong conduct, there are eighty-two that are abandoned by seeing. Among these, the five views enter into the four truths, and the five non-views enter into accordance, and so on.
