Like a wish-fulfilling jewel, completely without discrimination, constantly existing to liberate beings and for the prosperity of the world, this is what appears, free from elaboration. Thus it is said. The Lama is: the lord of Dharma, who destroys the Mara of death, and because his essence is without inherent existence, he is the constant protector of the world. Thus it is said. Now, in order to explain the qualities of the precious Dharma: Dharma is the path of merit and nirvana. It is the meaning to be expressed, and within it, there exist two aspects: the nature of fruit and function. The so-called two truths are the two: cessation and path. Generally, in the Vyakhyayukti, it is taught that the term 'Dharma' applies to ten objects. Here, the nature of the sacred Dharma is that merit, path, and nirvana are the three meanings to be expressed. The scriptures appear as words that express them. Among them, the Dharma of the truth of cessation and the Dharma of the truth of the path, these two mutually exist as the nature of fruit and function. Therefore, Lord Maitreya said: 'That which is free from attachment by what, that with the characteristics of the two truths is Dharma. Freedom from attachment is cessation, encompassed by the truth of the path.' Thus it is said. Furthermore, 'well-spoken by the Bhagavan' gathers and shows all the virtuous teachings of scripture that are good in the beginning, middle, and end. 'Rightly seen, without disease, without interruption, closely praised, seeing this is meaningful, the wise will know it for themselves.' This gathers all the essential points of the Dharma of realization. Seeing the meaning of what was said as it is, is rightly seen. Being the antidote to latent afflictions, it is without disease. Being easy to practice at all times and never deteriorating, it is without interruption. Surely emerging from the ocean of suffering, it is closely directed. All the scriptures, as they were spoken, have good meaning, good words, no contradictions between beginning and end, not mixed with the discipline of misconduct, possessing the means of liberation and reason, the teacher and the teachings are not like other flawed treatises, and all the well-spoken Dharmas ultimately lead to the single definitive meaning and will lead to perfect enlightenment, therefore seeing this is meaningful, that is, nirvana.

From the Sutra of Taming: Great rivers flow into the ocean. Flow, converge, just like that, all dharmas flow into nirvana. Flow, converge, so it is said. Its ultimate nature cannot be measured by speculation, therefore it must be known by each one for themselves. So it is said. Among these, knowing for oneself is the realm of wisdom, not the realm of speculation. Speculation is the nature of discrimination and distraction, accompanied by the five aggregates. In the Praise to the Mother, it is also said: Knowing for oneself is the realm of wisdom. Therefore, the inconceivable nature of reality is the true intention of the Buddhas, because it is known by the superior wisdom of insight that does not contradict samadhi and reality, by the wisdom of individually realizing it. Therefore, the essence is not seen in the affirmation and negation that are subject to the control of speculation. Moreover, what is to be expressed is related to what expresses it, which is the Dharma of scripture and realization. The scripture is the twelve branches of scripture, and from the perspective of antidotes, it appears as the three baskets. In terms of means, the most supreme is the Vidyadhara Pitaka. The place where the letters of the scriptures reside is the basis of the vow. This also depends on the meaning of what is to be expressed and the words that express it, and is established as the two teachings of scripture and realization, as Vasubandhu said: The holy Dharma of the teacher has two aspects, namely the nature of scripture and realization. So it is said. From the perspective of what is to be expressed, it abides in the two truths. In the Root Wisdom Treatise, it is said: The Buddhas teach the Dharma, truly relying on the two truths. Furthermore, if these two are briefly summarized, they abide in the nature of what needs to be guided and what needs to be determined. In the Noble Inexhaustible Intelligence Sutra, it is said: Explaining the establishment of conventional truth is the meaning of what needs to be guided. Explaining the establishment of ultimate truth is the meaning of what needs to be determined. So it is said. From the perspective of what expresses it, the Dharma of scripture is the twelve branches of scripture. In the Great Commentary on the Eight Thousand Verses, it is said: Sutras, songs, prophecies, verses, self-utterances, causes, metaphors, accounts, birth stories, extensive teachings, and wondrous teachings are the twelve branches of scripture. So it is said. From the perspective of antidotes, there are three baskets. The first five of those just mentioned are the Sutra Pitaka of the Hearers, the middle three are the Vinaya Pitaka of the Hearers, and among the last four, the born one...
