To employ, in which the Bodhisattva dwells in a thatched hut, causing forty-two thousand women to mature. Also, as it says in the Noble Cloud of Jewels Sutra: Relying on the lama, virtuous dharma increases and sins decrease, thinking that even if the khenpo has heard much or little, knows or does not know, keeps the precepts or does not keep them, one should generate the perception of him as the teacher. Just as one loves and has faith in the teacher, so should one treat the khenpo. Also, as it says in the Mother Tantra: One should serve and respect the virtuous friend who teaches that all dharmas are emptiness and without characteristics. In particular, those who, from the path of mantra, are liberated from their own nature and engage in the conduct of vidyadhara vows and union, their nature is inconceivable. For example, in the sacred land of India, the great Brahmin Rahula, even in the eyes of the Brahmins, had fallen from his own lineage, abandoned the conduct of the sthaviras, and engaged in the conduct of a bamboo worker woman, and was criticized by many people, including the king. Shavaripa engaged in hunting with women. Darikapa worked as a servant for prostitutes. Jadalipa killed various kinds of birds in the cities. The low-caste, limbless Vajravarahi pig herding woman engaged in sexual activity, angrily whipping. বিনাসাপি showed attachment to the lute. The seductive Vajra liquor seller was shown to be lustful. Acharya Lavapa was seen speaking extremely foolishly. Indrabhuti Barpa was seen as lustful. Jalandharipa spent his time in the conduct of a child. Tilopa roasted live fish, sometimes pounded sesame seeds, and sometimes pretended to be mad. Kukkuraja acted as the leader of a pack of dogs. The siddha Tantipa worked as a weaver. Gayapati worked as a singer in the city. He was named after killing only the bird Ghundiri and living on it. Black Vajra saw the Bhagavati Nya vamo Dol carried on his shoulder. Shri Singha saw Manjushrimitra with a wife, plowing the fields, and so on, there is no end to the stories. In Tibet, too, there are incarnations of Avalokiteshvara.

It is said that upon hearing of the existence of a king in the Padma-kula continent, two young monks from Li-yul (Khotan) came to visit. The king, seeing the execution of Tibetan subjects as a sinful act, fled, and so on, there were countless such occurrences. All of these arise because one's own mind has not been liberated into the three doors of liberation, and because one has not gained mastery over the pure and vast appearances that arise, thus deluded appearances arise as one's own nature. Why is this? Because the secrets of body, speech, and mind are extremely hidden, and one's own obscurations prevent them from being seen. For all qualities to appear directly, one must either purify one's karma or be in harmony with oneself and one's field of experience. In particular, the karmic appearances of sentient beings are immeasurable. For example, the monk named "Legpai Karma" (Good Star), who was learned in the twelve divisions of scripture and had attained the samadhi of the first dhyana, was also overwhelmed by the power of non-virtuous karma. Therefore, he saw all the actions of our teacher, who cherishes all sentient beings as if they were his only child, who is skilled in the methods of taming those to be tamed, who is endowed with wisdom and feet, and who is not defiled by any afflictions or collections of faults, as nothing but deceit and trickery. Thus, he exhausted the remaining merit and, in reality, the ground split open, and he went to the city of sentient beings in hell. Therefore, one should contemplate well and not doubt the actions of the lama. If, because the nature of sentient beings is afflicted, a little distrust arises, one should feel ashamed of one's own conceptual thoughts. This fault is not in him. All those who are near a person with wind disorders see all as harmful. When the wind is cleared, one will feel ashamed of one's own conceptual thoughts, which is an obvious dharma. Just as a person who has eaten Datura sees hairs falling from his eyes, one's own bad conceptual thoughts cause the faults of others to appear. Thinking in this way, one should correct one's mind and confess without delay. Even if one sees distrust in the actions of the lama in a dream, one must confess immediately upon waking. From the "Wheel of Accomplishment, Play" (Khorlo Chubpa Rolpa): If in a pure dream, one sees the faults of the lama, one should confess immediately upon waking. If one does not confess, this will also increase the cause of uninterrupted hell. If the lama appears to be hateful, it is because he has seen my faults and is disciplining me with reproaches.
