After seizing the land, behavior is reversed, like a wild man at the edge of the forest. When staying near the holy ones, one is always eager to escape. Wherever one goes, sin seizes one from all directions. If urged to go into solitude, then establish the Dharma. Like the tip of a kusha grass following the wind. Disguising an evil nature, like the tongue of a rope. After attending to the guru like an incense elephant, And obtaining the precious Dharma like musk, One joyfully throws vows at the hunter. All those who do not fall under the sway of decline, Having obtained the key points of the instructions, then abandoning them, In the end, exhausted from searching for various documents, Not seeing the new, all the old is lost. Compared to the faith that applies to the true meaning, And the desire to accomplish apparent worldly goals, Being neutral, not indicating either, It is precious to examine the characteristics of the three states. Armor is great, and wisdom is extremely firm, Not looking at body and life, one serves diligently. That person who reveres whatever is said, not protecting oneself, Is liberated by devotion alone. Having faith, wisdom, learning, and great compassion, Respecting vows and commitments, the three doors are tamed. Having a broad mind, generosity, pure perception, and a sense of shame, Being wise by greatly protecting the guru, Not being angry at teachings and rebukes, like a fine horse. Like a boat, coming and going, abandoning weariness of dwelling. Like a bridge, bearing all good and bad. Like a craftsman's platform, enduring all heat and cold. Listening to instructions like a servant, Abandoning pride like a wiping cloth, Abandoning arrogance like a castrated bull. It is said in the scriptures that one should rely on the guru. If one is wealthy, one should offer to the fourth jewel (the guru). All actions of serving with body, speech, and mind, Will never be in vain. Among the three ways to please the guru, practice is the most supreme. Do not view any action with wrong views, Most of the powerful ones in India, Appear as low castes, foolish, and ordinary with evil deeds, Even more fallen than the fallen. Before one's own appropriation is under control, The fault of judging mistakes is immeasurable. The monk Starry Good, who was versed in the twelve divisions of scripture, Was struck by the power of sin, Seeing the teacher's actions as deceitful. By thinking well, one deceives oneself. If the guru appears to be hateful, Recognizing that it is because he sees my faults and disciplines me with scolding, Recognizing that the time has come.

Let's confess and make vows. A sentient being will not be controlled by demons. When the Lama rises, do not sit on the seat. When residing, try to inquire about the illness and provide what is needed. If departing, do not attend from the front, back, left, or right. Disrespecting seats and mounts, etc., diminishes merit. Knocking on doors, flirting, frowning. Lies, recklessness, laughter, irrelevant talk. Without respect and fear, doing as one pleases. Abandon these and rely on the three doors (body, speech, and mind) with tranquility. Do not befriend those who curse and hate the Lama, and try to prevent them if possible. Speaking frivolously is being a slave to sin. Especially, it is powerful and will break vows. Being comfortable with someone is like a belt, feeling comfortable entering is like salt, being tolerant and patient is like a pillar. Be kind to the Lama's retinue and Vajra brothers. Like a wild goose relying on the best pond, like a bee tasting the essence of a flower. The behavior of constantly being together is amazing. Without feeling weary, grasp the Lama's heart, and taste the qualities by approaching with devotion. For those who are determined to engage in practice, the accumulation of merit and wisdom of the supreme holy beings. In any situation, have meaningful and consistent behavior, even in trivial matters such as errands, running errands, and sweeping. Labor and results are the best way to accumulate merit. Why take refuge and accumulate the field of merit? The inner and outer aspects of practicing Lama Yoga. Because the essence of the generation stage and completion stage practices are gathered here, it is taught as the Buddha himself in both Sutra and Tantra. Most ignorant people are drawing and meditating on images. In reality, the Lama is right in front of them, but they do not respectfully serve. They keep saying they are meditating on reality, but they do not understand the Lama's mind. The practice and what is to be practiced contradict each other, it is truly pitiful. It is ridiculous to expect liberation in the Bardo without devotion. First, be skilled at examining the Lama, second, be skilled at relying on the Lama, and finally, be skilled at learning the Lama's intentions and actions. Such a person will walk the correct path. When a spirit who hates peace appears in the form of a person, relying on the black Dharma of deceit and trickery, hating the white Dharma such as cursing the holy ones. The more you associate with them, the more sinful actions rage like a storm. For evil friends who destroy the seeds of virtue, the wisdom of relying on them is destroyed by the hordes of demons. Therefore, with virtuous friends
