All instructions and virtues are perfectly complete. Their essence is one, but their aspects are diverse. They reside within the continuum of a single individual. When internal contradictions arise, the higher principle is emphasized. This is known as the tradition of past scholars and accomplished masters. Although the lower aspects may appear contradictory, they share the common goal of averting harm and providing benefit. If something is contradictory, it is impossible to permit. If it is permitted, it cannot be contradictory, such is the nature of reality. For example, the transgressions of a Hearer (Śrāvaka) and the concordant misdeeds of a Bodhisattva transform into the intoxicating substances of mantra vows. When the conceptual constructs of an individual who engages in these practices arise as deities, both the basis and the intention are transformed. One who is not a Bhikṣuṇī, nor a Bodhisattva, devoid of skillful means, and overwhelmed by the power of afflictions, perceives all appearances as deities and maṇḍalas, and the substances of vows to be used as the nature of nectar. To whom is this transformation of perception permitted? Superior to bestowing upon individual liberation and Bodhisattvas, Bhikṣus and the Sangha, offering to the Yidam also transforms into fulfillment. This also explains the other aspects of discipline. However, self-identity remains unmixed, and all necessary prohibitions are complete. Because the essence transforms and virtues increase, there is no contradiction in the key points. Those who engage in analysis within the established tenets, primarily utilizing opportune moments, hold various views: some believe that the essence of transformed places is one; others believe that the basis of one is not the same; some believe that all three are materially contradictory and progressively increasing; some differentiate from the boundary of giving up and obtaining; some believe they are unmixed like a stacked peak; some believe that like the sequential gathering of the sun, moon, and stars, their own light does not diminish, and the difference in abilities is involved. All such forms of acceptance, during the time of the ritual, maintain their self-identity unmixed, and during the time of guarding the boundaries, all necessary prohibitions are complete. The essence of transformed places is accomplished by the power of wisdom. The distinction between general and specific is the difference. The basis of discussion is that there is no returning to correct the intention of transforming places. A transgression arising from the perspective of individual liberation, if one confesses from one's own side, it is contradictory because the transformation of place has already occurred. If one confesses from the higher side, then since that transgression has not occurred, there is no need to confess. The vows arising from body and speech are tangible, or the continuous mind of renunciation, the seed possessing attachment to truth. Without being grasped by transformation and the path of skillful means, even if one enters the Great Vehicle path and receives empowerment, one has not obtained the Vajra of transformed places.

Not clinging. Making the discipline pure is attention, Making attention pure is the yoga of the deity. If one becomes accustomed to that pure wisdom, Then the prescribed transgressions, which are of the nature of dharma, are subject to arising and ceasing. Not clinging to self-characteristics, there is no gain or loss. Not abiding in contradiction in the beginning, middle, and end, Its essence is conventional, therefore, transformation is accomplished. Both the ground and intention are endowed with manifestation, For those who practice with faith and desire, possessing the three vows, When abiding, protect the distinctions; if protecting, protect against laxity. If possessing, increase possession; if adjusting, from one's own ground, Remove the faults that have been lost, therefore, correction is accomplished. Why? If faults are generated, then prevent everything; If generating virtue and qualities, then because of permission, Permission and prohibition do not abide on the path of words, But are accomplished in connection with the continuum of the individual. The six perfections and the two accumulations, Generating qualities that have not arisen, Increasing what has arisen, and collecting virtuous dharma, The discipline is called the collection of the mind's training. The virtue that is grasped by love and compassion, Wherever it accomplishes the benefit of sentient beings is generosity. In that, having no self-interest is morality, Having no weariness for the benefit of others is patience. Especially entering with joy is diligence, Focusing on the benefit of sentient beings is meditation, Abandoning the clinging to real characteristics is wisdom, The six perfections never separate. In all four types of conduct, possess mindfulness and awareness, Of the accumulation of virtue that completely purifies the field of action, The familiar rising and falling are also the path of the six perfections, Entering without effort, The accumulation is completed very quickly. With skillful means, from reality or lineage, Diligently benefiting all sentient beings, Generosity and kind speech, beneficial action and agreement, The collection of virtuous dharma, the gate of discipline is wide. What is said to be the six examinations, Is also to examine the prosperity and decline of one's own dharma. Without losing oneself on the path of dharma, benefit others, Examine the mistaken confusion of ordinary beings who lose self-interest. If one can accomplish a great task that benefits others, Then there are times when small precepts are permitted with laxity, There is, if going to a city, then going to a town, For oneself, abandoning land; for dharma, also abandoning oneself. In this world of endurance (the Saha world), Protecting the fragrance of dharma that grows and flourishes, Why not consider the patience of enduring hardships? Not fearing the meaning of the profound, there are three aspects, The mind becomes very stiff and generates anger.
