Summary. Benefiting others is to accomplish the benefit of sentient beings. Among them, individual liberation and Bodhicitta, with four differences, become superior: Individual liberation only prevents harming others as the root, Bodhicitta adds benefiting others on top of that; Individual liberation summarizes seven things to be abandoned, mainly body and speech, Bodhicitta mainly takes ten things to be abandoned. The difference lies in the precepts. In the case of individual liberation, one does not abandon the precepts established for the sake of others; If a Bodhisattva, for the sake of others, commits the seven non-virtues of body and speech, knowing that it is done and will be done for the sake of others, and does not hinder the accumulation of one's own merits and increases them, there are times when three situations are examined and permitted: Those with great mental strength, such as the black man with a short spear, and the Brahmin's son, the star, are examples. The formal fault is actually good, because it is done with the intention of powerful cause and effect. The three of mind are not allowed. Even so, in the vows of the Buddha's sons, pursuing self-interest and peace, abandoning difficult practices, and whatever does not benefit others, are said to be the cause of downfall. The first karmic Bodhisattvas, with the mind mainly ascending, if the precepts of discipline are not pure at first, if the other two are mainly practiced, there will be many obstacles. Ordained Bodhisattvas are said to have special features in the Ornament of the Sutras. Bodhisattvas, in their own vows, do not have the clear description of the characteristics and rituals of individual liberation. Those who have practiced beforehand and have great mental strength, such as Indrabhuti, whose root is intention. Those who rely on lay people, on top of the vows of lay practitioners and close dwelling, constantly protect the two Bodhicittas of aspiration and action. The ordained, on top of the vows of monks, novices, and nuns who have the vows of nuns, protect the two of aspiration and action, which is the discipline of their own ground. If distinguished, there are two types of lay practitioners, keeping one, such as abstaining from killing; on top of this, abstaining from not giving, possessing one; on top of this, abstaining from lying, keeping most; on top of this, if abstaining from including sexual misconduct, then they are considered lay practitioners who keep completely. Abstaining from the four roots and the five such as alcohol is called a celibate lay practitioner. Among the ten precepts of the ordained.

Giving gold and silver is permitted for raising children. Dancing and garlands, the two are counted as one minor fault. What is known as the eight-branched precept, is to constantly protect it without any time limit. This is a layperson like Candra Gomi. The novice monk's precepts are to abandon killing, stealing others' property, impure conduct, lying, and adulterated alcohol, etc. Giving up dancing, garlands, high and large beds, as well as afternoon meals and accepting gold and silver. Holding the ten precepts is its special feature. The nun is the one who has gone forth above that, regarding the twelve things to be abandoned, such as touching, with antidotes and afflicted women, observing for two years or so, whether it can be done or not. The four root defeats of a monk, as well as the thirteen sanghavasesa, thirty nissaggiya pacittiya, ninety pacittiya alone, four patidesaniya, one hundred and twelve sekhiyas. Two hundred and fifty-three categories, nuns have three hundred and sixty-four. Each of the root four and eight defeats, as well as gross offenses, differ in terms of conformity. Committing a defeat abandons the vows from the root. The boundary of whether it can be restored thereafter, depends on whether or not the mind of concealment arises. It is ridiculous to not know what should be protected, yet boast of protecting it. It is easy to confess just knowing the transgression. The first of the four gateways through which transgressions arise, is "not knowing," which is the unimpeded view. The precepts to be practiced are the rituals of the three bases. Here, except for the seventeen parajikas and sanghavasesas, blessing the improper enjoyments, if it is necessary to eat untimely food, it is necessary to be interested in a place where the sound is unpleasant, similarly, for bathing, does the patient have extra clothes? White clothes that are not allowed to be worn, as well as leather, etc., are given permission because of poverty and distress, I think it is to protect life, touching jewels is to offer to the Three Jewels, I think it is given permission to save sentient beings, one should contemplate like this. Without permission, without prohibition, it is considered to be in accordance. The Sarvastivada, the Mahasanghika, the Sthavira and the Mahasanghika, for all the precepts of the four schools, it is impossible that there are no areas not covered by the Buddha's regulations, therefore, it is possible to exercise power over all precepts. A law that surpasses by dedicating to nirvana, a bodhisattva vow that surpasses by accomplishing the benefit of others, if one obtains a genuine empowerment, it is a mantra vow, the three are complete.
