The former is to clarify the two essential instructions of entering and transferring consciousness by combining them with the power of the mind that is familiar and accustomed to them. From the 'Union of Sun and Moon': 'The way to enter the body and wisdom is to entrust awareness in this way. With the posture of a sleeping lion, awareness itself is focused on the eyes. Let the mind be on the path of space. If the realm and awareness do not change, then that person will not have an intermediate state, and there is no doubt that they will attain enlightenment.' The meaning of this is to abide in three postures, or to abide in the posture of a lion, focusing awareness on the eyes. Focusing the eyes on the realm of awareness, in the state of primordial purity, without contraction or expansion, abandoning the activities of life, one will be liberated in an instant. In this regard, the introduction to the secret path should also be made, because it is extremely important. Therefore, even now, when the sky (414) is clear, focus awareness on the realm. Thinking that I am definitely about to die, I will pass into nirvana in the realm of non-elaboration. After exhaling in this way, leaving awareness without attachment is a very quick path. The latter is, as stated in the tantra: 'The way to enter the places of objects is the instruction of transferring consciousness to another body. Purify the consciousness by riding on the wind. It is important to be proficient in it beforehand. It is important to gather and release awareness. It is released with the syllable HIK. That itself is the face of the lama.' Therefore, when the last breath goes out, thinking that there is a white syllable A in the heart, imagine it going upwards from the Brahma aperture like an arrow. At the same time, reciting twenty-one stacked syllables of HIK will liberate you. It is also good to practice this from now on, as taught in the words of the tantra. Those who possess such key points do not need to rely on the certainty of the stages of dissolution, and there are also bodhisattvas (415) who pass into nirvana by transferring consciousness through breathing. At this time, if clarification is made with verbal elaboration, it is best if a lama, or if not, a vajra brother or sister with unbroken vows, says this: 'Hey, son of the lineage! This present clear light is the actual self-born wisdom, so leave your mind uncorrected in this state, and you will become a Buddha directly. If the elaboration of the mind does not subside, then your awareness, in the form of a white syllable A, will go from the Brahma aperture like an arrow shot a great distance. In the direction above, there is a world of pure space, and in that place there are...

Om, Possessor of Virtue, named King of Space. To him, son of lineage, do not be afraid, please request the complete Great Dharma of the viewing place, the empowerment of having the power of the base, and proceed into the manifestation of the basis of reality. At that time, you will attain Buddhahood in the land of original purity. If you are not liberated there, recognize all the appearances of the Bardo of Reality (416) as self-appearances. As soon as you recognize your own nature, may you pass peacefully into the realm of original purity. Say this three times and remain in equanimity yourself. This is extracted from Dzogchen Self-Arisen and others, so it is supremely excellent. Even if one receives the oral instructions, but does not have conviction, or in the general appearance of an ordinary person, due to the aggregation of the channels and winds, the four outer elements, the five inner skies, the five secret lives, and the complete dissolution sequence of the remaining twenty winds, although detailed in the tantras, here, for the sake of easy understanding by ordinary people, the way of dissolution of the elements and the way of movement of the winds are described, as in the Union of Sun and Moon: Earth dissolves into earth, the body is heavy and unable to rise, all strength to stand and walk is exhausted. When water dissolves into water, saliva and nasal mucus drip. Likewise, when fire dissolves into fire, the mouth and nose become extremely dry (417), and all the heat from the edges of the body is lost. Likewise, when wind dissolves into wind, the breath becomes rapid, the limbs tremble, and the eyes also turn upwards. Whoever experiences these signs will not remain here but will go to another world. Thus it is said. In "Vast Expanse of Clarity" it says: When the wind that lifts half the meaning escapes, the body becomes unstable, the buttocks sway, the limbs do not gather, it is difficult to speak, the eyes turn upwards, and the breath is pushed outwards. When the wind that enhances radiance escapes, the body, mouth, and nose become covered with cotton, the flesh becomes hot, and the mouth and nose smell of corpses. When the wind that separates essence and waste escapes, one does not eat or drink, and the body's strength is lost. When the wind equal to fire escapes, the body's heat is lost from the edges, and the body's radiance and luster disappear. When the wind of karma at the end of an eon escapes, the body itches, and there is much flapping and patting, and the blood from the fine veins gathers in the life vein. Thus it is said. At that time, appearances gather in this way. The outer senses, the rememberers, gather dimly like dusk (418). Awareness gathers in the center of the heart. Even though one speaks, one does not know, and memory is lost. Thus it is said, at that time, the wind in the lungs
