They hold appearances as a single illusion. Regarding the four appearances of the Great Perfection, they act without any regard for the root downfalls of hating the Dharma (392), like heretics looking at the sun. These groups of evil friends, jackals and wildcats, secretly draw water from the tantras for the appearances of empty forms such as the Wheel of Time that they enjoy. Because their understanding is obscured, their wisdom reaches a dead end. Some people think that it is a wrong view to believe that the Buddha does not have a body and wisdom. They consider the illusory body and so on as the ultimate accomplishment, and they appear to be attached to the two aspects of reality. However, we believe that the qualities of the Sugata-garbha are the form body, so we do not hold appearances as one-sided. Like the nature of the moon increasing in fullness, the qualities of increasing merit make the three bodies appear on the path and become complete. The current appearance is only an image of the outward radiance of awareness, not its essence, so we do not hold it as real. Just as the moon in the empty sky cannot be changed in its waxing and waning, the essential point is that the outward appearance of the heart's radiance must be exhausted (393). The subtle winds that move awareness are combined and become extremely pure. We believe that the appearance of no thought and no Dharma firmly occupies the primordial inner space. Knowing that sects are created by conceptual thought, we should pacify disputes with the inconceivable nature of reality. Because all phenomena have reached their end, and one's own sect has also been destroyed, at this time the guru's instructions have declined, and the limits of view, meditation, and conduct have been exhausted, so the appearance of the Dharmakaya does not exist. The continuity of body and wisdom has been cut off, so there is neither Buddha nor sentient beings. In short, nothing exists, there is neither past nor future. Thus, it should be established on the view of the Middle Way that does not abide. Fourth, the appearance of the exhaustion of reality: In the root tantra it says: The appearance of the exhaustion of reality is when the appearance of experience disappears, the body is exhausted, and the objects of the senses are also exhausted. After being liberated from the confusion of conceptual thoughts, one is separated from the object of speech. Thus, even in the treatises of the great yogis (394), the generation stage is endlessly established in the aspect of skillful means appearance, just as the completion stage must be gathered into the wisdom of emptiness. Here, the key point is

Through reliance on the three aspects, the movement of wind increases into wisdom. Through the power of purity in the nature of reality, the illusory appearances of external phenomena and the habitual tendencies of internal illusory thoughts, minds, and mental factors naturally cease. All appearances of secret luminosity also dissolve into the realm of the nature of reality, which is inexpressible in any way, and this is designated as a sign of exhaustion. In reality, just as there is nothing in the empty sky like a moon, although it appears as emptiness, one's own nature neither becomes larger nor smaller, so one's own radiance dissolves into the realm, like crystal light dissolving into itself. In this way, the nature of exhaustion has two ways of exhaustion. Gradual exhaustion refers to the state where the four appearances have reached their limit. Like an ocean of intelligence, just once, merely becoming accustomed to seeing the appearance of manifest phenomena (395), there is also exhaustion without relying on the stages of increase and reaching the limit. In any case, at that time, the coarse particles are purified, and one cannot be overcome by the enemies of the elements. Afflictions are purified, and thoughts and the basis of thoughts completely disappear without a trace. Appearances are purified, and going, staying, and the appearances of the sun and moon, etc., naturally vanish without a trace, and even "it is like this" cannot be established, so all forms are called nirvana. At that time, two attainments occur, as follows: If one attains mastery over birth, one arises as the body of great transference and benefits sentient beings. When appearances gradually exhaust, if one directs awareness to the appearance of the five fingers being entwined by light, the appearance will naturally revert, and the container and contents, the basis and what depends on it, will be seen like a moon in water and a dream. One will also see one's own body appearing like a reflection in a mirror, but without self-nature, just empty. But because the eyes of others are impure, they do not see it in this way (396), like the story of how when the king touched the body of the great teacher Padmasambhava with his hand, he touched the cushion. In this way, the purification of particles, appearing as light, and the attainment of mastery over both arising and entering, is a unique characteristic of Tögal. For Trekchö, the particles of the body and the mind are purified into the nature of reality, and there is only liberation in the state of original purity. At that time, inconceivable activities also benefit beings in the respective realms of the six classes from both direct and indirect means. In particular, more than three thousand human beings who were in accord with aspirations were all liberated, and then
