Transcendence. Accumulation is of the nature of separation. Desire is the source of all faults. Having (286) but not knowing contentment, miserliness increases, sharing with thieves and other contentious people, contradicting the Dharma of liberation, therefore despised by the noble ones. Childish friends are of evil nature. Those who do not repay kindness are difficult to please. Merely associating with the envious and others diminishes virtue. Busyness is always hurried and trivial. No matter how hard one strives, there is no essence. Even if one defeats enemies, there is no end. Even if one cares for relatives, there is no end; these are definitely to be abandoned. Having abandoned them, in the solitary forest, the place where the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the past also attained peace. Without busyness and distraction, without trade and agriculture. Separated from childish friends. Happy to be with birds and wild animals. Water and leaves are suitable for ascetic food. Intelligence naturally clear. A place where Samadhi naturally increases. Without enemies, without relatives, freed from the bonds of attachment and aversion, a place endowed with many qualities. The body endowed with the seven dharmas of Vairochana, the mind not thinking of anything, not grasping anything, abiding in this state is the transcendence of meditation. (287) Thus, all appearances of the five external realms are illusory appearances even though they do not exist, like a dream. Appearing suddenly from the collection of causes and conditions, like a magic trick. The non-existent appearing as existent, like an eye disease. Appearing but not established as true, like a mirage. Appearing in both inner and outer, like an echo. Without support and supported, like a Gandharva city. Appearing but without inherent existence, like the appearance of an image. Appearing without anything appearing, like a city of emanations. Viewing the empty form of non-existent things as the eight similes of illusion, thereby understanding that the appearance of external objects is of a false nature. Thus, examining the nature of the mind, the experiencer of appearances. Then the appearance of objects does not cease. The grasping and conceptualization of objects subside. Abiding in the state of understanding the nature of reality as empty and clear like the sky is the transcendence of wisdom. In the certainty of such guidance, all the profound essentials of the Paramita Vehicle are also included, and it is the root of the Mahayana Dharma, therefore it protects from the suffering of Samsara, and

Therefore, since it surpasses one's own vehicle, has inexhaustible and increasing merit (288), obtains vast merit, continues the lineage of the Buddha, accomplishes great benefit for others, and so forth, having immeasurable necessity, therefore, one should practice it with the three complete aspects of preliminary, main practice, and concluding practice. Third, the meditation and recitation of Vajrasattva: What obstructs the arising of special experiences and realizations of the profound path is sin and obscuration. And what is most excellent for purifying that is the yoga of Vajrasattva. The key to the four powers in that is: Taking refuge in Vajrasattva, possessing the bodhicitta of aspiration and application, is the power of support. Generating strong remorse for all the sins and non-virtuous deeds of the past is the power of destroying misdeeds. Resolving not to do them again even if it costs one's life is the power of restraining misconduct. Practicing the meditation and recitation of Vajrasattva as an antidote to past deeds is the power of universally applying the antidote. In the state of mindfulness of the purity of the four powers, the union of recitation and meditation.ཨ (Tibetan, ཧྲཱིཿ, hrīḥ, seed syllable) On the crown of my ordinary self, In the center of a white lotus moon seat, From the letter ཧཱུྃ་ (Tibetan, 吽, hūṃ, sound) arises the guru Vajrasattva, White and clear, the body of perfect enjoyment (289), Holding vajra and bell, embracing the consort, I pray to you, purify my sins, I confess with strong remorse, I vow not to sin even if it costs my life. On the full moon above your heart, The letter ཧཱུྃ་ (Tibetan, 吽, hūṃ, sound) is surrounded by mantras, By reciting the mantras, the lineage of mantras is stimulated, From the union of the blissful play of the father and mother, A cloud of nectar of bodhicitta, Falls like camphor dust, May I and all sentient beings of the three realms, Be purified of karma, afflictions, suffering, Disease, demons, sins, obscurations, transgressions, and defilements, I pray that all impurities be purified. Thus, with single-pointed focus and devotion, without straying to other thoughts, reciting the hundred-syllable mantra, from the letter ཧཱུྃ་ (Tibetan, 吽, hūṃ, sound) and the rosary of mantras in the heart, nectar of great bliss and wisdom descends like molten moon. From the form of the deity, the channels, and the place of union, it enters through the fontanelle of oneself. All diseases turn into pus and blood. All demons turn into insects. All sins and obscurations turn into smoke, ash, liquid, and gas, and exit through the pores and the two doors of the senses. Entering under the nine layers of earth, into the open belly of Yama, the lord of death, the karma of (290).
