如果说转生为地狱众生的主要原因是嗔恨心，那么这个业的因缘从过去到现在已经积累了很多。即使我不愿意，也必须毫无疑问地承受这个业的果报，想到这里就感到恐惧，该如何忍受呢？对于过去的业产生强烈的后悔心，进行忏悔和发誓。下定决心以后再也不做这样的事情，以强烈的决心约束自己。对于现在正在亲身感受痛苦的地狱众生，以及未来将要感受痛苦的众生，都修持强烈的慈悲心，这是使自己相续中的罪业减轻的正确方法，因此对于下面的所有（249）也应该这样理解。黑线地狱是：阎罗王的使者们，可怕的使者们将身体像木柴一样伸直，从头顶到脚底画八条线、十六条线，甚至更多，然后用锋利的锯子从头顶锯到脚底。刚锯开又愈合，再次被锯开，痛苦无法估量。众合地狱是：去到铁烧的地域，看到山变成马、骆驼、牛等动物的头颅形状，它们互相争斗，像挤压皮囊一样。有时，用燃烧的铁锤像打芝麻一样捶打，但很快又复原，像以前一样痛苦。号叫地狱是：在沸腾的铁水中煮熬，发出强烈的哀嚎声。大号叫地狱是：被关在两层的燃烧铁室中，门被封锁，痛苦地被火锤击打。热地狱是：在铁锅中用沸腾的铁水煮熬，轮到出来的时候，用锤子击打头部（250），即使失去知觉也认为是解脱，因此感到痛苦。极热地狱是：在燃烧的铁室中，用三叉的燃烧木桩刺穿双肩和头顶，用烧红的铁布缠绕身体，非常痛苦。无间地狱是：在燃烧的铁室中，周围被十六个地狱围绕，身体和火焰融为一体地燃烧，痛苦的感受非常强烈，只能发出哀嚎的声音，看不到身体的实体。

If the main cause of being born in hell is the mind of hatred, then the causes of that karma have accumulated a lot from the past to the present. Even if I don't want to, I must undoubtedly experience the result of that karma, and I am afraid of how to endure it. Generate strong remorse for past actions, confess and vow. Resolve never to do such things again, and restrain oneself with strong determination. Cultivating strong compassion for the hell beings who are now directly experiencing suffering, and for those who will experience suffering in the future, is the correct way to thin out the sins in one's own continuum, so all the following (249) should be understood in the same way. The Black Line Hell is: The terrifying messengers of Yama straighten the body like a piece of firewood, draw eight lines, sixteen lines, or even more from the top of the head to the soles of the feet, and then saw it with a sharp saw from the top of the head to the soles of the feet. As soon as it is sawn, it heals, and is sawn again, the suffering is immeasurable. The Crushing Hell is: Going to the land of burning iron, seeing the mountains turn into the shapes of the heads of animals such as horses, camels, and cows, they fight each other, squeezing like skin bags. Sometimes, being hammered like sesame seeds with a burning iron hammer, but quickly recovering, suffering as before. The Howling Hell is: Being boiled in molten iron, crying out in intense pain. The Great Howling Hell is: Being locked in a two-layered burning iron chamber, the door is sealed, and painfully crushed by fire hammers. The Hot Hell is: Being boiled in a cauldron of boiling iron water, when it is one's turn to come out, being hit on the head with a hammer (250), even losing consciousness is considered relief, therefore suffering. The Very Hot Hell is: In a burning iron chamber, being pierced with a three-pronged burning stake through both shoulders and the top of the head, and wrapping the body with burning iron cloth, it is extremely painful. The Uninterrupted Hell is: In a burning iron chamber, surrounded by sixteen hells, the body and flames burn as one, the feeling of suffering is very intense, only the sound of wailing can be heard, and the substance of the body cannot be seen.

It is obvious that for those who long for liberation and whose minds are constantly yearning, if the appearance of a door is also abandoned and blocked for a long time, then the new suffering caused by discouragement will make one see the damage to the dwelling. Similarly, there are external harms such as large arrows, clubs, and pouring molten iron. In short, since the suffering of the previous seven hells is always manifested, there is not even the slightest opportunity to rest comfortably for one intermediate kalpa, so it is called the uninterrupted hell. In this way, the eight hot hells also become progressively coarser with seven times the sensation, (251) and one should understand that the suffering is also seven times greater. Just as one would prevent the thought of going to a place where a great disaster had occurred before, one should strive not to be born there, and meditate in this way. Furthermore, the neighboring hells are the sixteen additional hells of the uninterrupted hell, with four types in each of the four directions: the pit of embers, the swamp of rotting corpses, the plain of weapons, and the forest of sword-leaf trees. Among them, the pit of embers is: when those whose karma has lessened from the uninterrupted hell come out, they are happy to go to the pit of dark shadows, and as a result, they fall into the burning embers of ashes, and their flesh and bones are burned. Similarly, when they see a river and go to it, they fall into the stinking mud of the swamp of rotting corpses, and are pierced by worms with sharp iron beaks. The plain of weapons is: when they see a delightful plain and go to it, all of it turns into sharp iron skewers, and every time they put down their feet, they are pierced into ashes, and when they lift their feet, they are healed, so they suffer. When they see a forest with lush leaves and happily go to it, all the leaves turn into swords, and the rain of swords blown by the wind (252) cuts the body into pieces. In addition, there is also something called the Iron Pillar Mountain, when they see beings who have affection for them calling them from the top of the mountain and go to them, their feet are pierced by sharp iron skewers on the way, and when they reach the top, crows and vultures peck at their brains and eye oil. When they see people calling them from below and go to them, they are pierced as before, and when they reach them, they turn into burning iron men and women, embracing them and burning and devouring them. Then, thinking about the eight cold hells, the commonality is in the snowy mountains and hailstones.
