By training the mind through the three non-conceptual ways, the longer one abides in the state of mind that is like the sky, free from conceptualization, the more stable the awareness becomes, and this is the measure of one's familiarity with one's own ground. These seven mind-training methods should not be mere words; one should remember the suffering and sorrow of samsara, as if fallen into a dark abyss, and practice them at all times in general, and especially during maturation instructions, for twenty-one days, fourteen days, or even at least seven days. If one does not integrate them into one's own mind-stream, merely listening to the teachings will not make the mind workable. The Great Orgyen (Sanskrit: Udyāna) said: If it is not like that, but one mixes the changing circumstances of samsara, the nature of impermanence and suffering, sorrow, and renunciation, and practices them, then for those who are tormented by hunger and thirst, even if food and drink are in their hands, it will not be of benefit merely to know that they are beneficial if they do not consume them. Just as one must eat and drink, one must understand the meaning through practice, just as one understands that samsara is like falling into a dark abyss, and thereby turn the mind towards temporary and lasting happiness. Thus it is said. Through such a sequence, when the student's mind-stream becomes very tame and workable, one explains the six common preliminary practices, such as taking refuge, and the special preliminary practices, such as distinguishing between samsara and nirvana, thereby opening their understanding. When entering the main path, one awakens the potential of the four vajra families, as well as the collection of symbols, methods, and interdependent origination, thereby maturing the student's mind-stream into pure boundlessness. One receives empowerment and introduces all phenomena of grasping and being grasped as the play of being free from the three aspects of memory, awareness, arising, ceasing, and abiding, thereby merging into the intention of the unconditioned Dharmakaya (Tibetan: ཆོས་སྐུ།), which is the liberating guidance. One recognizes appearances and sounds, as well as sudden habitual patterns, as the manifestation of the three mandalas through the three aspects of self-nature, cause, meaning, and sign, which is the generation stage of uniting appearance and emptiness. One clearly demonstrates the essential points of the three aspects of lineage, teachings, and pith instructions, bound by vajra words, through the six limits and four modes, which is the pure transmission of the four rivers of the Nyingma school, thereby skillfully enabling the student's mind-stream to achieve the nature of the three vajras (Tibetan: རྡོ་རྗེ།, Sanskrit: vajra, Romanized Sanskrit: vajra, literal meaning: diamond).

In terms of conduct, at that time, the superior disciple, firmly fixed with the unchanging stake of self-awareness, when their realization reaches perfection, enduring all hardships and wrong practices, is empowered as the representative to engage in the activities of benefiting others, and entrusted with the command of the Vajra King. The middling ones, if the skill of the union of appearance and awareness is not yet complete, alternating between delusion and liberation like a reed stalk, will be lost to obstacles, mistaken accomplishments, demons of prophecies, and other adverse conditions, failing to accomplish their own benefit and instead coveting the benefit of others, living a corrupt life, leading those they connect with into the lower realms, becoming guides to hell. To avoid such faults, one should erect the victory banner of practice and receive the teaching of jointly accomplishing the two benefits. The inferior ones, even for the sake of pursuing fame and profit, seeking food and livelihood, engage in inappropriate actions such as the sky falling and the earth collapsing, harming the image of Buddhism in general and in particular. To avoid becoming a mass of evil thoughts, recklessness, greed, and decay, one should, with peaceful and gentle conduct in accordance with the Dharma, guide the perceptions of others, and restrain oneself to learn correct behavior and Dharma practice, etc. (229). In short, being skilled in the methods and dependent arising of guiding disciples, understanding the vows and precepts from individual liberation to the Vajrayana, and being able to distinguish the order of what should be done and what should be stopped, if one can become a great hero who continues the activities of the Buddha, such as the great scholar Vimalamitra, the second Buddha of Oddiyana, the omniscient Dharma King, the great scholar of Ngari, etc., then one can be a worthy example of the conduct of a Vajra holder. If one is ignorant of such skillful means, even if one is crowned with good names such as "the lifeline of Buddhism," one will only lead oneself into afflictions, ignorance, and wrong paths, and can only save those with little merit. Therefore, one should explain the meaning of the ocean of tantric teachings without inversion with such profound wisdom, so that one can shoulder the responsibility of propagating the banner of the early translation of secret mantra. I pray with a mind free of pride to all the named and hidden Vajra holders. Thus, in the Great Perfection Tantra it is said: Especially of this supreme vehicle, all conduct and practice should be learned, the affairs of samsara (230) all connections, should be abandoned with skillful means and gradually reduced.
