and improve them, and move those who dwell in places of hardship to places of abundance, and so on. In short, for those things that are better and greater than before (684), the Argha ritual can be performed and restored. Therefore, the practice is as follows: complete the deity yoga of the deity on whom you rely, including recitation. In front of the object of veneration, offer offerings and abundant tormas to Dharma protectors, local deities, and so on. In front of oneself, place a clean mirror on a stand and allow the image of the object of veneration to appear in it. With the thought, "For the benefit of all sentient beings, I will transfer the consecration of this object of veneration and transform the bad material into good material," accompanied by vajra and bell. Namo! In the boundless ocean of the infinite realms of the ten directions, the assemblies of gurus, Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Sugatas, victorious ones with their retinues, without exception, I beseech the assembled ocean of hosts to heed me. As I transfer the consecration to offer to you, I beseech the assembled ocean of hosts to bless me and to come to this appearing image. After reciting this three times, from one's heart, radiate rays of light like an iron hook, and invite the wisdom being of the object of veneration in the form of the three syllables (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思), causing it to dwell inseparably in the image within the mirror (685). Bind it with the four mudras of Stabilize it with the hundred-syllable mantra and Supratistha Offer with Argham and so on. Praise with words of praise. Recite auspicious words and scatter flowers. Then, keeping the mirror upright, cover it with red or yellow silk, as appropriate. Secure it in the back. With respect, invite it to sit in the row of offerings. When the new object of veneration has been built and the actual consecration is to be performed, invite the mirror to the presence of the object of veneration and remove the covering. When the time is right to invite and dismiss the wisdom being, as before, radiate and gather the rays of light, and through the mantras and mudras of the four immeasurables, merge the commitment being of the new object of veneration with the wisdom being, inseparably. Thereafter, perform the consecration according to the usual procedure of invitation and so on, and it will be accomplished. As for the old material of the object of veneration, it can be mixed with the new material, and those that have become different materials should not be mixed with ordinary materials, but stupas and tsatsas should be built and consecrated.

It is called "The Wish-Fulfilling Jewel." (688) The consecration ritual for the three supports, called "The Auspicious Wish-Fulfilling Jewel." Homage to the Fourth Jewel, the Lama Buddha. Of utterly pure primordial wisdom, The city of the four Mudras, the image of manifestation, Entering all at once, the very essence of Great Bliss Vajra, Possessing seven special qualities, to that I bow. Here, the basis of what is to be explained is the consecration ritual for the supports of body, speech, and mind. In Heruka Galpo: For the supports of body, speech, and mind, The wisdom is infused, possessing blessings, The place of arising of the five aggregates of samsara, Is the very nature of body, speech, and mind. As such, it is taught with great preciousness in the supreme tantra, And even that must rely on a pure ritual. From the tantra: It should not be done with an inferior ritual, Consecration is always inauspicious. (689) In this world, there is also suffering, In the world beyond, there is great fear. And: Therefore, in all efforts, Strive diligently with the desire for accomplishment. As it is said, it should be commenced by Vajra Acharyas possessing ten or eight qualities by nature, accompanied by recitation and fulfillment, at an auspicious time and date when the sun is moving north. Secondly, the actual ritual of how to proceed is in three parts: Preliminary, Main practice, and Subsequent order. The first has two parts. First, the distinctions of the mandala, whichever of the two, colored or drawn, is relied upon, from the ground preparation onwards, in common with the drawing of colored powders, lines, etc., and the preparation of the vase deities, etc., each according to its own special ritual, knowing according to whichever procedure of invocation and dissolution, mandala activity, etc., is relied upon, then arranging ornaments and offering substances, (690) tormas, etc. Secondly, the implements for consecration are: In front of the support, etc., in a suitable place, a mandala for offering possessions with the arrangement of Mount Meru and the four continents, in the center of which is a tsaru food, mainly of white three and sweet three, in the shape of a glorious offering, surrounded by excellent foods, and from the front of the mandala, on the right side, etc., finding a suitable place, a square bathing platform, smeared with incense and essences, on top of which is a lotus with eight petals drawn. If there is energy, the eight auspicious symbols are drawn, covered with white silk. On top, an old, blessed support is placed, and also one inscribed with "Sarva Vidya Svaha (藏文,梵文天城体:सर्व विद स्वाहा,梵文罗马拟音:sarva vid svāhā,汉语字面意思:一切,知道,梭哈)" is respectfully placed. In the center is a bathing vessel.
