Even when merely indulging in the samaya substances of the glorious Hevajra, if one consumes them without blessing them with "Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ Ha Ho Hrīḥ," like a foolish person, it is said that both the samaya and the siddhi will be lost. As stated in the Vinaya source: "If one who holds vows drinks without the three Ha, it will undoubtedly turn into poison, and the siddhi of mantra will not arise." Therefore, whether it is a little or a lot, one should not drink more than what fills a 'za thod' (skull cup). If one drinks more than that and becomes intoxicated, one will be born in the realm of hell called 'Du-ebo.' As it is said in the tantra: "Whoever becomes intoxicated with alcohol, many obstacles will arise for them. A mantra practitioner who becomes intoxicated with alcohol will be cooked in the realm of 'Du-ebo'." So, one might wonder, didn't masters like Guru Padmasambhava and the siddha Vimalamitra consume five hundred 'khal' (a unit of measure) of alcohol at once? It's not that they were intoxicated by five hundred 'khal' of alcohol, they didn't even become slightly satisfied. There is a story that they couldn't afford the price of the alcohol and had to press the sun down. So, if you, like eating poison raw, imprison the sun and moon, exchange mountains, fly into the sky, generally benefit the teachings, especially benefit the Vajrayana, and are able to transform distorted perceptions of faith, that would be great. If not, and in an instant your consciousness becomes confused, and like a madman with wind entering the life force, you speak nonsense and do whatever you want, if that is a sign of accomplishment, then it is very strange! (621) As it is said in the scriptures: "In the time when the five degenerations are rampant, the secret mantra samaya substances of meat and alcohol, the source of their permissibility is mentioned, but without the warmth of meditative experience, all mix meat, blood, and alcohol. This also lacks samaya, and those who practice according to the Dharma are criticized by skillful means. Such things will appear at the end of the teachings. Alas, alas, there is no place to go other than hell, how pitiful!" Therefore, having clearly determined what to accept and reject, do not waste the body that is the basis for achieving enlightenment, and do not engage in the Vajrayana samaya feast wheel for the sake of fattening yourself, increasing your glory, or other such purposes. Rather, in the state of possessing the three mandalas: "Ho, food, drink, and true substances, are originally the great feast wheel. Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ and Ha Ho Hrīḥ, transform into uncontaminated great bliss nectar, my body"

The aggregates, elements, and sense bases are the essence of the three grounds being complete. The deities of the mandala of the sacred hundred families, All movement is great bliss. The vajra commitment is supreme, In the great cloud of bodhicitta, Play in the state of non-duality and equality. After the accumulation of the yogic path is complete, May it not turn into an obscuration of food, And may the patron without a fixed abode, Also enjoy the fruit of the Great Vehicle. Having said this, one should definitely ascertain the pure recollection of the vajra body as follows: the soles of the feet are wind, the triple intersection is fire, the abdomen is water, the heart is earth, the spine is Mount Meru, the head is the upper part of Mount Meru. The mandala of the body is a square without inequality. The eight legs are eight pillars, the eyes are the five senses, the nose is a chimney, the teeth are a half-lattice, the tongue and lips are desire, the ears are stables, the four channels through which wind flows in the heart are four doors, the alaya consciousness is Heruka, the eight consciousnesses are eight Gaurimas, the eight objects are eight Tramenmas, the four extremes of permanence and annihilation are four doorkeepers, the twenty-eight vertebrae are twenty-eight Ishvaras, the ten non-virtues are ten wrathful deities, the ten virtues are ten wrathful goddesses, the eighteen ribs are eighteen great lords, the three hundred and sixty bones are three hundred and sixty messengers, the seven doors of the senses are seven mothers, the twelve lumbar vertebrae are twelve Tenmas. In short, the mandala of the body's channels, the mandala of the channel letters, (623) the mandala of the elements' nectar, the mandala of the wind's wisdom, the mandala of the awareness's bodhicitta, thus the nature of the five kinds of mandalas is naturally and spontaneously present. Knowing the five fingers of the hand as the five goddesses of desire, one should enjoy food in accordance with the vows of the four empowerments, or if one is a path of means, one should think of it as the nectar of bliss and emptiness, if one is a path of liberation, one should think of it as the nectar without outflows, and enjoy it like an offering, without distraction for even a moment. And without any discrimination of bitterness or sweetness in taste, one should know it as emptiness, clarity, and all-pervading. This reasoning should be applied to all food and drink. However, if one does not have the capacity to understand this much, or even if one has the capacity, one should follow the Vinaya holders and, as a perfect branch, be happy to make an upper offering before meals, then bless the food itself as nectar with Om (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡), Ah (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आः,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:啊), and Hum (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽). First offer the essence of the food.
