When the number exceeds, writing at the time of approaching the offering is an extremely secret category. Sarva Mangalam! Good! Good! Good! (556) (557) The hermit of Heart Essence meditation, the lion's roar that cuts off mistakes dwells. (558) From the beginning, without meditating, without transforming, without fabricating, without being distracted, without grasping, possessing the essence of awareness. Letting go, abiding, without clinging, in the Great Perfection, I pay homage with the continuous flow of self-arising, naturalness. The essence of the luminous tantras of the Great Perfection, the Padmasambhava's mind-drop, the blood of the Dakini's heart, the meaning that transcends all nine vehicles, cannot be expressed solely by the power of the Intent Transmission. (559) Even so, for the sake of the supreme meaning of the Heart Essence, for the sake of the great meditators who are solely devoted, without analytical scrutiny, forceful squeezing, or strict limitations, these were done from the treasury of Longchen Nyingtik's intent. Here, connect with the pure aspiration of the past. Meet a qualified, excellent guru who possesses the lineage of meaning. With intense, one-pointed faith (560), sincerely pray with the wisdom that understands your mind, knowing how to do it through auspicious circumstances and reverence. Then, the guru's realization is transferred to the disciple, and the state of the Great Perfection, naturally free from elaboration, cannot be expressed by words or examples. Understanding does not cease, expansion is not interrupted, and it does not fall into any extreme. The present awareness of Trekchö, without embellishment or alteration, simply settle into meditation, thereby eliminating attachment to meditation. Liberate from the bonds of view and meditation. Certainty arises from within. The one who arises disappears into nowhere. Good thoughts do not help, bad thoughts do not harm, and one is not deceived by neutrality (561). Instead, the wisdom of Dharmadhatu merges completely, thereby manifesting the qualities of the signs of the path. There are no names such as "mistake," "error," or "loss." Even so, although this Dharma is the king of all vehicles, beings have various superior, middling, and inferior qualities, and it is difficult to gather those with sharp faculties. Therefore, confusion arises between those to be tamed and those who tame, and even if one meditates, the fault of not easily generating qualities arises here. Therefore, if considered from the perspective of gradual arising, there are three aspects to mind practice: understanding, experience, and realization. If combined with the stages of the common vehicle, the practitioner on the path of accumulation...

Those on the path of joining experience, those on the path of seeing realize, the wise and accomplished ones say this, and it seems very important. In this day and age, most people take understanding as (562) genuine practice, and thus fall into expansion. What is that like? The relaxed and soft meditation that does not conceptualize anything in clarity or emptiness mostly only has the feeling of comfort when it arises. 'My meditation is this, no one knows more than me, I have realized such a state,' such self-importance also arises. If at this time one is not taken in by a qualified lama, as it is said in Dzogchen, 'Understanding is like a patch, dragging along.' Like that, when encountering good or bad circumstances, they easily separate like water and milk. Moreover, turning bad circumstances into the path is slightly easier, but turning good circumstances into the path is very difficult, so those who consider themselves to have high realization only focus on the benefits of this life, and are completely attached to the distracting demons of the gods, this is because they have not realized the key to the self-liberation of the six consciousnesses. Nowadays, this is taken as a sign of wonder and accomplishment, so the speaker here is as rare as a white crow. However, those who sincerely practice the sacred Dharma (563), at this time, for those views that have characteristics and are wavering, do not interrupt the practice, but practice the Guru Yoga in four sessions, and after receiving the four empowerments, in the state of blending mind and awareness, relax the awareness, and do not let the nature of that experience become baseless and unfounded, but engrave it in your heart. Similarly, for experiences, there are emptiness experiences that are more inclined towards calm abiding, and there are clarity experiences that are more inclined towards insight, etc. In short, if one can recognize the loopholes of thoughts and illuminate them with the light of discriminating wisdom, and thus turn both abiding and movement into practice, that is of course good. However, in the nature of the knower, if the clinging to 'I' and 'mine' is still tight, or if one falls into the habit of discriminating speculation, etc., these extremely hidden obscurations of knowledge still exist. Therefore, do not prematurely label conceptual thoughts as Dharmakaya, but take the current awareness that has not diminished and has not been broken as the antidote for the practitioner, and do not be bound by the clinging of views, but completely (564) relax and turn it into the path. Other than that, if one falls into discriminating speculation in the understanding of meditation and post-meditation, one will go astray and make mistakes.
