Among them, those who demonstrate the twelve deeds are called supreme emanations; those who tame other beings with compassion are called various emanations. For example, being born into a body that is of actual benefit to sentient beings, such as transforming into a large fish during famine, a beneficial animal during illness, and acting for the benefit of beings by transforming into Knowing Bala, Haha, etc., in the land of Rakshasas. In terms of craftsmanship, such as drawing the syllable (Tibetan: འུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Hum) on objects that appear inanimate, or carving them into reliefs, or lotuses, or wish-fulfilling trees, or gardens, or monasteries, or palaces, or jewels, or ships, or bridges, or lamps, etc. In short, all things that give benefit to sentient beings are emanations of blessings. These also arise from the Dharmadhatu and dissolve into the Dharmadhatu, a form that is very worthy of study. The Omniscient One said: If there are no beings to be tamed, the tamer dissolves into the Dharmadhatu; the self-appearing Sambhogakaya dissolves into the nature of the Dharmakaya; if there is no water vessel, the moon's reflection hovers in the sky; like the new moon dissolving into the Dharmadhatu; like the full moon without waxing or waning; if there are beings to be tamed, they appear gradually as before, this is the fruit of spontaneous accomplishment. Just as when there is no water vessel, the moon's reflection in the water naturally dissolves into the moon itself, if there are no beings to be tamed, then the moon's reflection of the Buddha's Nirmanakaya, which appears as its own nature, dissolves into the nature of the self-appearing Sambhogakaya and becomes peaceful, only explained by analogy. Coming from one place and dissolving into another, there is actually nothing. Similarly, the Sambhogakaya also dissolves into the realm of the inner clear Dharmakaya, and is called wisdom hovering in the Dharmadhatu. It is like the full moon abiding in inner clarity. The Madhyamikas believe that at this time, entering into meditation dissolves into the Dharmadhatu and becomes peaceful, abiding in the nature of ultimate truth, and in the appearance to others, they act for the benefit of beings according to past vows. So it is said. And in the Ratnagotravibhāga, it is believed that although the wisdom of Samadhi does not waver, in the post-meditation state, it acts for the benefit of countless beings. As it is said: Non-discrimination and after that, attainment is considered wisdom. So it is. Secondly, at the time when abandonment and realization are perfected, in the great nature of being endowed with two purities, my guru, the Omniscient Lord of Speech, does not differentiate between the Buddhas of Sutra and Tantra, this is his intention.

However, here, when measuring the qualities of the sphere with the illusory-like wisdom and profound conduct of the holy beings, since the nature of wisdom that individually realizes the inconceivable states can appear anywhere, therefore, in terms of discourse, compared to the incomparable Yungton Dorje Pel, following in the footsteps of Zur's Lama Palchen Drubpa, he composed the treatise (261) distinguishing between the Sutra and Tantra Buddhas, Oṃ. Even the indisputable great lords of speech are said to have slumbered in the form of a banner of pride and are praised. Here, I see that the wisdom that distinguishes knowable things can be examined. Therefore, explaining according to its commentary, first, the Dharmakāya has three distinctions: the distinction in essence, the distinction in characteristics, and the distinction in blessings. First, the Dharmakāya of the causal vehicle is emptiness, free from elaboration; while the Dharmakāya of the mantra vehicle is the union of appearance and emptiness. As stated in the 'Extensive Text': 'The world, moving and unmoving, etc., in appearance itself has no essence.' Second, the Dharmakāya of the causal vehicle falls into the extreme of emptiness, while the Dharmakāya of the mantra vehicle is non-dual appearance and emptiness, therefore it does not fall into the extreme. Third, the Dharmakāya of the causal vehicle does not manifest anything other than the blessing Nirmāṇakāya and Sambhogakāya, while the Dharmakāya of the mantra vehicle, the blessing of inseparable appearance and emptiness, can manifest the five bodies, etc. So it is said. If one examines the distinction in terms of essence, I do not see that there is reason, because for the extremely subtle wisdom that is absorbed and not obscured, there is no grasping of appearance and emptiness. That quotation from the 'Extensive Text' is very applicable to distinguishing in terms of characteristics. Second, the distinction between the two Rūpakāyas is also divided into three. First, the two Rūpakāyas of the causal vehicle arise from causes and conditions, while the Rūpakāya of the mantra vehicle is not produced by causes and conditions. As stated in the 'Extensive Text': 'Because it does not depend on causes and conditions.' The third is again divided into two: the distinction of the Sambhogakāya and the distinction of the Nirmāṇakāya. The distinction of the Sambhogakāya is also divided into two: the distinction of the object of enjoyment is that the Sutra vehicle only enjoys the white side, and does not enjoy the black side, while the Tantra vehicle enjoys both.
