and deer playing on the limbs, pigeons emerging from and entering the nostrils, etc., meditate in this way, and especially for peace, reverse by clearly manifesting the nature of possessing nine aspects. As stated in Ngam-glok: Each of these supreme forms possesses nine aspects: softness, slenderness, intimacy, charm, grace, delight, youthful appearance, clarity, radiance, majestic beauty, and blazing glory. Thus it is. For the wrathful deity, meditate on possessing nine dance-like expressions. As stated in Galpo: Coquetry, bravery, ugliness, laughter, violence, terror, compassion, ferocity, and peace are adorned with the aspects of nine dances. Thus it is. Regarding the transformation of numbers, as stated in Gyutrul Lama: Even the assembly of deities (234), within the great magic of the mind. Therefore, practice by remembering the nature of appearing as retinue from the magic of the sole principal deity. When only one color appears, clarify the shape. When only one shape appears, increase various colors. For gradual disappearance, meditate on the face and hands being very coarse. For incompleteness, deliberately clarify from the part of choosing completeness. Third, in between these, it is called "separating the deity," which means to settle in non-conceptuality in order to relax and breathe, and to mix deity visualization with non-conceptuality. After clearly visualizing the deity without error, separate the deity from non-conceptuality and only visualize the deity. Fourth: Having become skilled in this way, the method of raising the deity path or practicing is: Meditate on the deity standing. Meditate on the deity sitting. Meditate on the deity lying down. Meditate on the deity in a common posture. Meditate on the deity supine. Meditate on the deity prone. Meditate on the deity far away. Meditate on the deity near. Meditate on the deity in a mountain cave. Meditate on the deity in the depths of the ocean. Meditate on the deity being very large, like Mount Meru. Meditate on the deity being very small, like a mote of dust. In this way, if one can meditate upwards, it is called the experience of habit like a river, which means the deity path has been raised. Fifth: From then on, it is called "mixing the deity," which means that in order to abandon the grasping of the object of meditation (235) and the meditator as dual, mix the form of the deity with one's own mind inseparably and meditate, so that no conceptual thought interrupts, and abide in the completely perfect form for as long as one wishes to abide, which is called the stable experience like Mount Meru. Even the pores of the hair and the black and white of the eyes appear clearly.

Oṃ. Unaffected by any external circumstances, day and night, fully manifesting the great power of all mandalas, this is the degree of clarity. Very clear, awake, bright, and limpid, these are the four degrees of clarity. The degree of stability is unshakeable, unchanging, not manifestly changing, and impossible to change in any way, these are the four degrees of stability. Obtaining these eight degrees of clarity and stability is called the experience of reaching perfection, which is the appearance merging with the deity's mandala. Sixth, it is not enough to just merge like that, in order to correspond with the deity, one's own mind consciousness, including the eight aggregates of consciousness, all appear as the deity's body and wisdom. That is to say, the awakened bodhicitta has matured from the beginning into the fruit of the deity's body, becoming the indivisible great wisdom (236) of the generation and completion stages as one taste. If one merely strengthens the habits of the generation stage as one's own continuum, then at most one can only attain the state of Rudra and Rakshasa, because this turns one's back on the path of liberation, so the oral instructions of the four life-nails are preciously taught, as it says in the thirty-ninth chapter of the "Secret Perfection Tantra": In whatever wisdom world, if the four life-nails are not applied, then it is always meaningless, like a widow alone. The method of completely perfect glory, seizing life, knowing one can obtain the liberation of all lives. For example, the mouth of Rahu, once it seizes one sun in the sky, even if it does not seize all the thousands of suns in the water, it can obtain the life of thousands of suns. Therefore, the four life-nails are very precious. Thus it is said. The nail of samadhi is to focus the mind on the form of the deity, such as the object of focus, and meditate, so that the manifestation of clinging to the ordinary body is completely transformed into the body of the deity. As it says in the tantra: The nail of samadhi is the skull body, focus the mind with one-pointedness, do not be distracted. Becoming a giant in the three realms, and actually meeting the great glorious Heruka. If Heruka does not turn back, if there is no unchanging nail of samadhi, then the deity's body will never be seen. Thus it is said. Among them, the way the giant of the three realms (237) becomes one is: first, it is clear in the realm of thought, then it is clear in the realm of sight, and then it is clear in the realm of touch, so that the mind consciousness matures into the deity's body, and the deity meets the deity, this is called the clear giant becoming one, as it says in the "Great Glorious Face": All the mudras of the wisdom deity, first are clear in the realm of mind, then its actual appearance power increases,
