The eight great accomplished vidyadharas, all in Heruka attire, their two hands playing damaru and bell, their postures and mudras reveling in dance. The four directions, four colors, and four blue corners manifest the essence of the eight accomplishment groups. In between are Chinese and Tibetan vidyadharas, and the twenty-five incarnate lords and subjects. Their appearances and attire are uncertain, and their vajra dance postures change at will. Above, the deities, heroes, and dakinis of the four and six tantra classes dwell like sesame pods. In the outer courtyard are the seventy glorious protectors and the twenty-eight powerful ones, etc. The (page 232) oath-bound servants of the command rush like the wind. At the four gates are the four great Kila divisions. All are in the state of playing in appearance and emptiness, clear and unmixed, spontaneously accomplished. The three places are marked with three letters, accomplished as the essence of the three vajras. From this, light radiates greatly, the supreme place of the natural dharmadhatu, and the western Orgyen incarnate realm, the eight great charnel grounds, etc., especially the Rakshasa Lanka continent, from the Copper-Colored Glorious Mountain, I invite the deities of the vidyadhara assembly mandala to come to this place, samaja. Secondly, I invite you with incense and music, and call out with intense sorrowful sounds: Hum. In the beginning of the ancient kalpa, in the northwest of the land of Orgyen, on a lotus stamen, you attained the supreme and wondrous accomplishment, known as Padmasambhava. Surrounded by many dakinis and an ocean of vidyadhara siddhas. I (page 233) will practice after you, please come to bestow blessings. Please bestow blessings in this supreme place, bestow upon me the supreme four empowerments of practice, dispel obstacles and wrong views, and all kinds of hindrances, bestow supreme and common accomplishments. Om Ah Hum Vajra Guru Padma Totrengtsal Vajra Samaya Dza Dza. Thirdly, requesting to be seated: Hum. In this mandala generated by skillful means, the deities invited from the realm of wisdom, the mandala assembly of vidyadhara lamas, please joyfully abide in a state of non-duality. Vajra Samaya Tishta Lhan. Fourthly, offering homage with mudras: Hum. The deity is oneself, and oneself is the deity, in the self-born incarnate mandala, although there is no good or bad to accept or reject, I offer homage with the mudra of dependent arising. Ati Pu Ho Pratitsa Ho. Fifthly, the distinctions of offerings: Om Ah Hum. Clouds of outer and inner offerings, the five sensual objects and the five desirable qualities, auspicious.
