The eighteenth praise is: By whose kindness, the nature of great bliss, Whoever appears in an instant, Like a precious guru's body, I prostrate to the lotus feet of Vajradhara. The guru is the Buddha, the guru is the Dharma, Likewise, the guru is the Sangha, The doer of all is the guru, I prostrate to the guru's body, speech, and mind. Abandoned by the guides, I, who am heading towards the abyss of bad destinies, Completely combined with the path of liberation, Great guide, I prostrate to you. Not knowing what is the right place and what is not, Wandering in the path and non-path, Darker than darkness, I praise you, the lamp of self-view. Seeing whose body becomes light, Even the residue of peaceful sleep, The sutra says it purifies the uninterrupted sins, I prostrate to the great one whose connection is meaningful. The Ornament of Beautiful Arms Sutra says: Manjushri, wherever there is a speaker of the Dharma, or seeing his bones or a decaying corpse, one will be purified of the five uninterrupted sins. Hearing your words, one knows what to take and what to leave, Protecting from the abyss of great misdeeds, The nature of the truth of cessation and path, I praise the melodious sound of hearing and liberation. Though I strive, I cannot be liberated, By entrusting to your mind, one matures in an instant, If devotion is obtained, realization arises, I prostrate to the one beyond elaboration and inconceivable. For countless three great kalpas with asceticism, Afflicting the senses, yet unable to, Obtain the rare Vajra Mind, I prostrate to the one who unerringly and manifestly shows it. Guru Yangtig! The guru is the precious Buddha, I have no other refuge, Please look with eyes of compassion, I pray to be liberated from the ocean of samsara.
