Furthermore, the appearance of the Nirmāṇakāya is, as stated in the Uttaratantra: "With great compassion, knowing the world, and gazing upon all beings, without moving from the Dharmakāya, with various natures of Nirmāṇakāya, manifesting birth, descending from the Tuṣita heaven, entering the womb and being born, mastering the crafts, enjoying with the consorts, renouncing, practicing austerities, going to the Bodhi tree, subduing the Maras, perfecting enlightenment, turning the wheel of Dharma, and manifesting passing into Nirvāṇa. In the impure realms, manifesting to remain in Samsara, as long as Samsara is not empty." Thus, and so on. Secondly, relying on wisdom, there are two: knowing the suchness of reality, and knowing the extent of all knowable things. The first is: directly realizing the profound, peaceful, free from elaboration, unconditioned nature of reality. As stated in the Abhisamayalankara: "When conditioned and unconditioned, and white and black dharmas, are thoroughly analyzed with wisdom, and not even a particle is seen, those worlds are the number of Prajñāpāramitā, like space, without any place to abide." Thus, and so on. The second is: with non-referential wisdom, simultaneously knowing all the dharmas of Samsara and Nirvāṇa. As stated in the Avataṃsaka Sutra: "The unsurpassed wisdom of the Buddhas, in an instant, knows all meanings." Thus, and so on. The Sutra Ornament states: "Just as a single ray of sunlight shines, illuminating all beings, similarly, for all knowable objects, the wisdom of the Buddha illuminates simultaneously." Thus, and so on. Thirdly, the activity, the activity of benefiting others, is, as stated in the Uttaratantra: "Due to renunciation by the power of others, and equally regarding oneself and sentient beings, and because the activity is not fully accomplished, as long as Samsara is not empty, the activity will not cease." As it is said, with the great merit of the body, the wisdom of speech, the direct perception of mind, and the inconceivable miracles, one tames beings. These reasons will also be explained in the thirteenth chapter. To summarize the meaning of this chapter, as stated with "Thus" and so on, these six perfections, which have been well explained in this way, are definitely the single path of all Buddhas who have come, are coming, and will come in the three times, as shown above, not being deluded in view, and also being extremely pure in conduct.

One will go to Akanishta, the manifest realm, and attain enlightenment. Thus it is said. This is the commentary on the ninth chapter of "The Treasury of Precious Qualities." Now (330), in order to tame those trainees with sharp faculties, the secret mantra Vajrayana, which is difficult to find in the world, is taught, and what is called Bodhi, etc., is proclaimed. Among these, the practices of a Bodhisattva, the cause and the result, the former has already been extensively taught, and here the latter, the mantra vehicle, is taught. For this, the different names, the result or others, are called Vajrayana, the Vehicle of Means, and the Treasury of Vidyadharas, which is more excellent than the cause. How is it more excellent? As it is said in the secret prophecy: Having faith in the cause, with the Dharma of the cause, after the wheel of Dharma has been well turned, a near path of the result vehicle will appear in the future. As it is said, because the doors of means are limitless, the state of Buddhahood can be achieved without relying on hardships. How is the difference between cause and result described? Others go by this, and here it is the power of desire, as it is said in the later Heart Essence Tantra: The king of self-awareness who realizes the meaning of equality, in these great means that realize the supreme meaning, just as all the rivers flow into the great ocean, all the immeasurable liberation vehicles are included. Thus it is said. The general characteristics and qualities of mantra are indicated by what is called continuity, etc., as it is said in the Vajrasekhara Sutra: Tantra is called continuity, Samsara is considered Tantra, Nirvana is the later Tantra. As it is said, in this way, Samsara and Nirvana are connected like the strings of a lute, and from the perspective of continuity, the name of Tantra is known in three ways, namely, the ground Tantra Tathagatagarbha, the path Tantra the union of view and meditation, and the result Tantra body and wisdom, and also relying on the two stages of generation and completion, because of the union of means and wisdom, unlike the causal vehicle, which torments with the power of asceticism, the entrance is wide, and whatever becomes the basis of the sharp-witted, the conduct is also very fast, as it is said in the "Three Kinds of Lamps": Even in one meaning, there is no confusion, there are many means and no difficulties, the power of the sharp-witted.
