(1) The key to the treasury of virtues, the good explanation of the diamond knot unlocking vajra peg. (2) I prostrate to the feet of the glorious Lama, inseparable from youthful Manjushri. The golden womb, the crest jewel of the beings of the three realms. The guide, the blazing light, the one with the wheel in his hand, and so on. The five aggregates of pride, the essence of the heart is round. Worthy of being worshiped with the crown of the head, I praise the complete Buddha. The thick forest of the darkness of suffering in samsara. To the palace of the hope of lasting happiness. The Dharma of learning and realization, which is brave in easily laughing. Only through its power, I respectfully accumulate faith and prostrations. Raising the victory banner of the teachings of the Victorious One at the top. Fulfilling the desires of all beings through the three sacred deeds. Praising (3) the entire Sangha, including the seven lineages. In the unchanging great bliss, the unconditioned space. Having attained the supreme essence of the nectar of unsurpassed wisdom. Jikme Lingpa, the embodiment of all the Buddhas of the three times. Until enlightenment, I will attend to your feet without separation. I am not qualified to comment on the treasury of virtues, the good explanation. However, the meaning realized through the kindness of the Lama. Whether extensive or concise, may the Dakinis grant permission. Furthermore, what is to be explained is divided into three parts: the beginning, the main body, and the conclusion. The first part has three aspects: stating the title, expressing offering, and vowing to compose. The first part has three aspects: explaining the words, elucidating the meaning, and showing the necessity. The first part is: In Indian language: guna (Sanskrit: गुण, virtue). In Tibetan: ཡོན་ཏན (yontan, virtue). kosha (Sanskrit: कोष, treasury). In Tibetan: མཛོད (dzö, treasury). ratna (Sanskrit: रत्न, jewel). In Tibetan: རིན་པོ་ཆེ (rinpoche, precious). pramoda prishti (Sanskrit: प्रमोद पृष्टि, rain of joy). In Tibetan: དགའ་བའི་ཆར (gawé char, rain of joy). nama (Sanskrit: नम, salutation) ཞེས་བྱ་བའོ (xhe jabawo, named). The second part is: That is, the source of all the virtues of higher realms and definite (4) goodness, the supreme and excellent treasury of jewels, the great treasury of the sacred Dharma, which refreshes sentient beings in the state of eternal joy and happiness, and destroys the fire of evil deeds, a treatise like rain. The third part is: In the "Lamp Illuminating the Clear Meaning": The best state the title, the middling distinguish the contents, and the lowest explain the words. It means that just by mentioning the name, those with the highest faculties will understand the meaning of the treatise, which is the necessity. What this treatise explains is that the Dharma of learning and realization came from India.

Therefore, here also it is quoted for the sake of interdependence, and the etymology of the place name is that, in relation to India and China, in terms of Dharma and conduct, the opposite of the other is referred to as white, and the translator called it 'Gar' for ease of expression, or in other cases, scholars also consider it arbitrary. Second, there are two parts: praise of reverence and remembrance of virtues. The first part is, starting with 'The Three Jewels,' etc., prostrating with great reverence of body, speech, and mind. To whom do we prostrate? To the rare and supreme Three Jewels in this world—the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha. By whom do we prostrate? By Jigme Lingpa. Why do we prostrate? In order to protect all beings from the accumulation of sins. When do we prostrate? From now (5) until the heart of Bodhi. The second part is, combining the previous story, it tells of 'The Precious Three Jewels,' etc. Using 'The letter of fame of the Precious Three Jewels,' etc. as a metaphor, the story is like, starting from the time when the princess Pearl Vine of the King of Simhala was very happy. The eight worldly dharmas, the face of the demon girl is as beautiful as a grove of Kunda flowers, doing such evil deeds, revealing extremely subtle aspects, this is the power of the Buddha. That is, as it is said in the Wish-Fulfilling Tree: A merchant named Norchen, appeared in Varanasi in the past. His wife was virtuous, named Rinchen Den. When the husband died, that woman, on top of the stupa, offered a huge necklace with great reverence. With the maturation of that merit, she became the daughter of the King of Simhala, Pearl Vine. In another life, she became arrogant and ignorant due to wealth, slandered offerings, and became stingy, so she served as a maid for a long time. Whatever good and non-good deeds, beings sow in the field of samsara. Just like that, in the house of the Shakya clan, a maid named Rohita died and was reborn as the daughter of the King of Simhala, named Pearl Vine. By the power of her merit, the merchants of Shravasti sailed to Simhala. In the last part of the night, when they were able to rest and breathe, they sang the verses spoken by the Buddha, and the princess heard it.
