From the Fifty Verses: "All things are of the nature of space, but space itself has no nature. By combining the nature of space, all supreme equality is perfected." Thus it is said. The second is the intention for another meaning, which is to show that all phenomena from form to omniscience appear to exist in the face of delusion, but are not established upon examination. As it is said in the Manjushri Sutra: "Dreams appear but are not real. Likewise, all phenomena appear but are not real." Thus it is said. The third is the intention for another time, which is to say that hearing the name or dharani of a Buddha will lead to enlightenment. This refers to a person who has previously practiced, or even if not, has planted the seeds of virtue, and when they become powerful, they will effortlessly attain enlightenment. The fourth is the intention for a person, which is to criticize and praise another because holding on to something as supreme, or thinking that there is nothing better than the virtue one practices (264), becomes an obstacle to the path. The second also has two parts: teaching and explanation. The first is taught by "obscure" and so on. The so-called obscure intention is for those who cannot understand the profound meaning as it is and are in a state of doubt. For a while, it is explained in a roundabout way with pleasing names and partial contents, but in the end, it is to guide them to the correct path. This is saying that the words are the same but the meanings are different. The second, separate explanation is taught by "if divided" and so on. If divided, there are: entering, nature, antidote, transformation, which are obscure intentions. The first, entering obscure intention, is for those who are afraid of emptiness when they hear it and abandon the Mahayana Dharma of no nature. If it is said that form and so on exist, they will understand that they are established by their own characteristics and enter immediately. But the Victorious One said this with the intention that appearances are like dreams. The second, nature obscure intention, is to teach the three aspects of imputation, dependence, and perfection (265) in order to understand the meaning of no nature. The first, imputation, is empty of its own nature and therefore has no nature. The second, dependence, is empty of arising and therefore has no nature. The third, perfection, is empty of ultimate truth and therefore has no nature. Therefore, all phenomena are in what

Also, because it does not abide anywhere, it teaches the profound Dharma meanings that should be spoken. Third, the antidote of the hidden intention is that in order to counteract the wrong view that others think that this Tathagata has a shorter lifespan, smaller light, and fewer retinues than other Buddhas, it is thought that the inexhaustible body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities of Vairochana, the Great Snow Sea, are the very nature of the serpent foundation of the Wheel of Adornment, like a personal promise. The length of life, the high or low lineage, and the size of the body are not measured by size. Because there is no good or bad in the abandonment and realization of all Buddhas, the form body appears like a moon in water to the perception of those to be tamed. In reality, it is equal and of one taste with the Dharmakaya. There is no good or bad in the field of accumulating merit, it is equal and of one taste, so it is considered in this way. Fourth, the transformation of the hidden intention (266) refers to the killing of parents who should not be killed, and the destruction of kings and those with pure conduct who should not be destroyed, as follows: father refers to craving, and mother refers to grasping. From these two, when the wind is bound in the central channel, the word "killing" is used to express the state of complete purity. The king refers to the Alaya consciousness, and similarly, the Brahmin refers to the view of the aggregates, and the Shramana refers to the pure conduct of holding the vows and asceticism as supreme. The internal sense bases, consciousness aggregates, eight consciousnesses, etc., are together with their objects. These things that are pure in nature are merely names for destruction, and if they are taken literally according to their meaning, it would be a great mistake. The main point of the occasion is indicated by the words "in short" and so on. In short, the difference between having meaning and having hidden meaning is: having meaning refers to merely thinking about the thing that needs to be done in the mind, without needing to consider whether the other person obviously accepts it. Hidden meaning, on the other hand, needs to consider whether the other person accepts the difference, etc., and these distinctions are like the eyes for observing all the scriptures. Measuring the aspects of the holy Dharma (267), it is indicated by the words "measuring" and so on. From the perspective of measuring, if all the eighty-four thousand Dharma doors spoken by the Buddha are summarized into one point, it is the conventional truth and the ultimate truth, that is, the third beyond the two truths.
