It will become the opposite. As the sutra says, 'Desiring at the wrong time is the work of demons.' That's why it is said. Similarly, so-called 'unknown to others' refers to the miserliness produced by the ten non-virtuous actions, along with the giving of food and wealth. It is not a proper place, but a place to be blamed. True giving is to abandon attachment and clinging to what one possesses (202), which is the ultimate limit of giving. The third is shown by 'of Dharma' and so on. Whatever is included in the previous two types of giving, when doing Dharma giving, there are also three ways. The first is that because it is difficult to teach as it is by abiding on the path of following faith, therefore, through the methods and rituals of eliminating one's own afflictions, and with love and compassion for all beings without discrimination, reciting scriptures and all good thoughts and actions, plant the wish for the white side of the continuum to be liberated like lotus petals. From the time of liberation of one's own continuum, one must focus on benefiting others according to the capacity and nature of beings. As it says in the Sutra of the Question of the Holy Holder of the World: 'What is Dharma giving? Giving pens, ink, and books is small. According to the capacity of beings, teaching the Dharma of the Hearers, Solitary Buddhas, and the Unsurpassed is great. Leading into the Unsurpassed Bodhi, teaching the Dharma that is inconceivable like the sky is extremely great. (203)' Second, the perfection of morality is shown by 'morality' and so on. Among them, there are three types: nature, brief indication, slight classification, and extensive explanation of the text. First, the nature of morality is to diligently guard against all that is incompatible with the training. Second, if distinguished separately, there are three types: the vow of abstaining from evil deeds, the vow of accumulating virtuous dharmas, and the vow of benefiting sentient beings. That is, guarding all gross and subtle evil deeds of body, speech, and mind is the vow of abstaining from evil deeds; possessing the six perfections is the vow of accumulating virtuous dharmas; and striving to benefit others with the two vows just mentioned is the morality of benefiting sentient beings.

Regarding the detailed explanation, it speaks of roughly showing the characteristics of the Shravaka and Bodhisattva, such as the "internal classification." Within the internal classification, the difference between a Bodhisattva and a Shravaka's vows is that the Bodhisattva becomes superior through four special ways: the Shravaka's vows merely prevent harm to others and its root causes; while the Bodhisattva's vows, on top of that, add the desire for vast benefits. (204) The Shravaka's vows include three such as killing, and four such as lying, totaling seven actions to be abandoned, mainly involving body and speech; while the Bodhisattva's vows, on top of that, add the three of mind, totaling ten actions to be abandoned, and primarily focus on the mind. Not only that, but it is also shown through "the difference of permission and prohibition," etc. The special thing is that in the case of the Shravaka's vows, even if there is a major change for the benefit of others, the already established vows will not be broken. But when a Bodhisattva changes for the benefit of others, if the seven unwholesome actions of body and speech are transformed for the benefit of others, and it is known that they will be transformed; and in the three situations where one's own virtuous accumulations, with or without intention, are not obscured and increase, carefully weigh and examine, and if it is appropriate, there are cases of permission. For example, when our protector, the supreme incarnation, was studying, when the captain became very brave, seeing the lives of five hundred merchants tormented by ripening karma, he killed the black man with a short spear; and the Brahmin boy who loved the stars, after practicing celibacy in the forest for eighty-two thousand years, went to the city to beg for food, fell in love with the merchant's daughter, and was tormented by desire (205), in order to prevent him from dying at that time, he broke his celibacy, and as a result, was reborn in the Brahma world, etc. These examples show that although they appear to be faults in form, they are actually virtuous deeds, because they are done solely by thinking that the dependent and related cause and effect have power. Therefore, for the three of mind, there is no case of permission at all. Therefore, addressing the Mahayana individual, it says, "Even so..." etc. Although it may be clear from what has just been said, the word "even" indicates emphasis. In short, the Bodhisattva's vows include seeking the state of peace for one's own benefit, and the body that is difficult to do even when there is a need.
